planning on signing a lease for a studio apartment and it would be my first ever apartment. how do i make the living/bed space cozy but also feel larger than it is if I have people over?

I was also thinking of getting a divider to hide my bed when I have friends over OR potentially a couch that turns into a bed. Any recs are recommended. I don't know if I will be hosting a lot as I am moving to a new city for grad school and will know no one there, but hoping I can make some friends. Is it difficult to have people over when you have a studio apartment, would a one bedroom be better or can you make it work?

How do you decorate for the seasons?

I enjoy switching up my decor a bit seasonally but I’m running into the problem of storage. How do you decorate seasonally while being mindful of the limitations of storage in an apartment? Do you keep it small? Have items that store well somehow? I feel like I must be missing key information to make this easier
