I am new to Arcane. I just started due to my good friend raving over it. I love it so far and wanted to show my love by writing a fanfic (how else?).

While doing research on other fanfics I noticed that a lot of people made a romance with Vi and their male characters. I thought she was completely for women. Was I wrong, or does she swing both ways?

Anywho, I am writing an OC fanfic, and having someone well versed in Arcane to keep the characters in check. Please feel free to give me any info about the characters that could prove useful. No need to worry about spoilers.

Twelve days across the Atlantic had done nothing to dull the edge.

Caitlyn shouldered her bag and drew her travel case in against her hip, and she felt the eyes find her the way they always did—the offended glances of passengers who'd spent the crossing deciding what she was and resenting that they couldn't place it. A woman traveling alone. A woman in a man's tailored suit, dark as a closed door, with a low-crowned felt hat tilted just so against the New York glare. She'd long since stopped giving a single damn what peasants made of her.

She let them look. She glared back at the ones who held it too long, and to the women who kept staring anyway she gave a slow, sly turn of the mouth that was not quite a smile and not quite a promise, and watched the color come up in their faces. She looked stellar. She knew it. That, at least, exile hadn't taken.

The ramp gave under her boots as she came down onto the docks, into the reek of brine and tar and unwashed bodies and the great churning noise of America's busiest port. She set her case down a moment, scanned the chaos with a sharpshooter's patience, and began to map her way through it.

New York was only the door. The road ran on from here—a ship south to Panama, a wretched scramble across the isthmus to Panama City, and then a final steamer up the Pacific coast to San Francisco. Five more weeks of travel she was not remotely looking forward to. She found her vessel, presented her papers, and went aboard, and as she ran her eye over the passengers crowding the rail she felt something in her ease by a fraction.

Well, she thought, the corner of her mouth curling. If the women aboard are going to be this attractive, perhaps it won't be such a terrible trip after all.

Cait / Vi shippers opinions wanted.

I have written a non traditional ABO fic with Cait as an Omega Domme and Vi as an Alpha sub but I don't know if I will get nasty comments about it/ on it.

I'm kind of new to fanfiction as a whole so I'm going to do some reading in the ABO genre before I edit and post but I thought I'd ask to see if people tend to avoid non traditional ABO stuff or not? And if you only avoid some, what are the ones you avoid and why?

I'd also like to ask about tagging etiquette. Should my first tag be non traditional ABO or should my first tags be omega Cait alpha Vi or does tag order not really matter? Do y'all have a system for tagging?

I've only written one fic before and I had to remove it because I got a lot of negative comments even though I was sure I tagged it accordingly. I'm now wondering if maybe my tags weren't organised and people got confused? One of my friends writes fics and he said they all looked like bot comments, is that a thing that happens to other people in AO3? I will one day re-upload it but with comments off, I think.

hey all! i've been working on a caitvi angst fic with a detailed plot (mapped out in a whole document) and i've been looking to promote it, but my efforts bear little to no fruits. so, this is my last resort. reddit, please work your magic. kudos and comments much appreciated.

ive been on the search for this for quite a while now, and i cant find anything that explains how caitlyn mustve felt terrified in the moment. riot games ofcourse didnt either but that just leaves more room for authors' imagination (aside from all the nsfw stuff). does anybody have any recs that include raw, primal terror and not some stockholm syndrome thing going on?

I'm looking for long fics starring mostly but not only Jinx, plot heavy, with hefty doses of action/drama/intrigue/politics/romance. Set on Runeterra but not necessarily canon compliant. Straight or bi doesn't matter as long as there's at least a guy and a girl involved somehow. Bonus if it features LoL characters not in the show.
