Just bought a house in North End and I’m pleasantly surprised to see we have 2 yard waste bins, 2 recycling bins, and 1 trash bin (no idea if that is normal). I had a home composter at my previous house and made some lovely compost but I’m happy to contribute to a municipal pile. For my home composter I could lean out the back door and put it in the bin, but with these yard waste bins being in the alley I’m wondering if I follow the same process? Accumulate a bowl of kitchen scraps in the house, and semi-regularly dump into the bin outside? Won’t that get filthy?

My family and I love music of all kinds. My kids are learning music from guitar to piano to trumpet to electronic music production etc. I realized that I have not been getting them much live music exposure by professional/semi-professional performers. There's something about feeling the music in a live performance... I really miss it

Does anyone have any recommendations for places to bring kids for live music performances? Seattle has tons of stuff but I am looking for stuff in Tacoma or Pierce county.

(Also it would be great if I don't have to spend $100s on tickets. It would have been cool to go see some of the concerts at the Puyallup State Fair but the tickets were $$$)

Is there a store that has their own logo stamp that I can add to my notebook? Kinda like how some stationary stores have them for travelers. I know Outpost Stationery in Seattle has one, but I'm looking for one local.
