Now introducing Aurora Suites and Premium Reserve! Years in the making, but I'm so excited to finally have this work out in the world. Translating the Alaska Airlines brand into a global premium cabin interior has been one of the greatest challenges, honors, and a career bucket list body of work.
So much of this would not have been possible without the talented work of ACLA Studio who have been on this design journey with us from start. When we set out on this project, the goal was to create something respectfully new that showcased honest materials, natural textures, elevated finishes, and truly Alaska Airlines.
Across our new products you'll see modern nods to our PNW roots. Whether it's our Sitka Spruce Wood providing guests a warm welcome, Bering Blue leather bringing a warm elevated evolution of our Midnight Blue, the Emerald accents that evoke the dancing greens of the Aurora Borealis, or the brass sconce lights popularized in our Alaska lounges, a handcrafted cabin experience awaits.
Looking to rolling these changes out late next year on our 787-95, and in 2028 on our 787-10s, and my personal favorite, the Transcon 737-10 MAX.
So basically I was at some Russian very North airport and flew a 737-500 operated by UTair and I sat in the first row. And there was no cockpit door so I was looking into the cockpit the whole flight basically. And I noticed immediately that it had A320 displays which was super super weird but I thought I was Just seeing things and remembered incorrectly. Also I think there were no front doors and it was kinda DHC6 styled Interior? So basically a Mix of planes that looked very weird. Either way, 10/10 dream, would def want to have a similiar one, bye
Not trying to get into conspiracy territory her, but I noticed in passenger videos of the Flydubai 1073 murder-suicide attempt that everyone during the nosedive is able to traverse the cabin quite easily and there is no objects flying about, and hitting the ceilings. Can someone explain this? It is confusing me.
Journalist here. I'm trying to get in touch with anyone at flydubai who actually knew this guy Hamam al Hammami. Anything you can say about his character, background and history.
