Apc9k pro suppressed

So. I’m not ready to call this problematic because I still have a few ideas about how to solve this. How many rounds do you send through the Apc9k suppressed before carbon build up starts causing cycling problems? I just got a different lube that I’m going to try. Just curious experience here. Part of me wonders if the design of this just has limits of how many rounds it can send before needing a cleaning.

Buy BT USA now or wait?

I'm in the market for my first B&T, either an APC9 or SPC9. I understand they're in the process of setting up a new headquarters in the US. Do you think the new operation will have higher build quality and/or higher prices? Looking to learn about any pros and cons.

Also sorry if this has been asked a million times

Compact? Or full size?

This would be my last gun purchase for the year, who here has run the compact TP9 can for a good bit? Are you happy with the performance? I always liked the appearance of the full size TP9 suppressors.

SD or not SD?

Looking to finally pick up a B&T PCC. Trying to decide if I want to go with the SD or just a standard apc. I’ve heard some complain that with the SD you need to clean it after every range session, is this true? I love tucked cans for the rail space on k variants and it seems my only option for that is to go sd. Would love to hear your opinions on pros and cons and which would be the best fit for me. I’d like this to be a bag gun but also a gun I teach my wife and kids to shoot. We live on property so we will be able to shoot quite a bit.

New Buyer

So I’ve owned a MP5 before and recently I’ve found out about the APC series of firearms. So what’s the best one to get? Suppressed, SBR’d, etc etc

Question about the SD

I have the B&T PrintX MP5SD suppressor that is said to also work for the Gen1 APC9-SD. However, I cannot find a Gen1 SD for sale anywhere and so I'm curious about the Pro.

Does the MP5SD PrintX suppressor not work at all on the APC9-SD Pro? I feel like I read somewhere that the thread pitch was different but cannot find where I read that. Additionally, if it is not compatible, how difficult is it to find a Gen1 APC9-SD?

Backorder Now or Wait?

I’m in the market for a pcc and was recently sold on B&T after trying out a friend’s SPC9.

Given the recent drama between B&T AG and B&T USA, which I’m not especially well-versed in, would it be better to place a backorder for APC9 or SPC9 with a shop that offers them or would you recommend waiting until things get sorted out?

Final Prototypes for the APC9/9K Extended Hand Guards

Hey everyone! Been a while since I posted an update on these since we’ve been making tweaks here and there, but we finally have the production version of the extended hand guards for the APC9 and 9K completed.
You can submit an in stock request on our website which I’ve been using to gauge interest for pre-orders. Super pumped with how these are turning out!

Help with figuring out pistol gen

I am on the hunt for an APC300 or APC223 and know the gen 1’s have the non-changeable grip module. That’s the biggest way to tell generation as far as I know but the newer generations also have the foldable charging handle. If one has the changeable grip but non folding charging handle is that still a gen 1 upper gun or what would that be? Would that be a reciprocating charging handle or not?

APC9k Firing Pin Issues

Broke my 3rd firing pin on my APC9k in less than 1k rounds. Is anyone else having issues with their firing pins? I cannot fathom what the issue is other than poor parts reliability.

APC9 gen1 In today’s market?

What are your thoughts on the gen 1 APC9 in a world of APC9 pros? Are they still worth picking up? Seen a few floating around. Nobody really talks about them much anymore.

APC9k and SPC9 PDW

I got the itch for a SPC9 PDW but currently already have a APC9k. Are they different enough or would it be stupid to get the SPC9? I’ve never shot one but I like how they look. If I did purchase the SPC9, I’d like to SBR that one and keep the APC9k a pistol.

Any insight helps.

EDIT: Found a new one for $1899.00 with the Telescopic brace and my buddy said he’d give me the stock pad for the SBR

Something is missing…

Received a brand new B&T NATO A2 HUB adapter from a reputable dealer in the mail today. Something seems missing… 😂

Sent an email to the dealer to resolve. Did they radically change the design, or did QC drop the ball here?
