Day One vs Present 🥹

so happy with my current results 🥹🫶🏻

dati nasstress ako kasi ang nipis, super spready, ang dark, hilaw sa gitna, ang daling magbreak kahit classic choco chip cookie pa lang.

Lesson Learned: Huwag magmadali. Kapag sinabing "chill for 2 hours", chill it for 2 hours, HINDI IFREEZER FOR 30 MINUTES!!! 🤣

bilang silent lurker, dahil din sa subreddit na to natutunan ko ang Baker's Percentages. thank you po sa lahat ng nagcomment nun under sa ibang posts, nakapagsave ako ng ingredients during experimental sesh.

chewy cookies na siya 🫶🏻

What’s wrong with my dough?

Hello po, new to baking. Wala akong mixer, any suggestions how to improve my dough? Tried yung windowpane test and ang dali niya mapunit.

Coconut Caramel (Latik) Cake

Cake I baked for my mom last Mother's Day Celebration ☺️

Instead of using a normal salted caramel, i used latik since my mom loves coconut nyog and latik, both that she usually uses when making kakanin 🫶✨

I think I just baked the ultimate thick-and-fudgy molten cookie. Look at that texture! 👑🍪

learning materials reco for baking

hi! i’ve been into baking breads lately, and i want to explore more and hopefully try selling them. i have been baking since pandemic, not consistently tho, mostly for self-consumption or as gifts for family and friends. so far, i’ve baked cakes, cookies, and breads.

i really want to take baking seriously and turn it into a side hustle, but i still don’t have funds to enroll in a formal course yet.
can you please recommend learning materials (recipe books/sites, youtube videos, content creators, etc.) where i can learn baking more deeply?
also, tips would be greatly appreciated! thank you! 🫶🏼

Thoughts on Dutché? For cookies

Looking to try their Bitter Sweet choco, I've been using Goya chips and buttons for my cookies but wanted to try chunks using Dutche
