1. zenon vs langris: honeslty wished zenon wasted langris there and then while boasting about his devil power. dude is so much better than langris that i wanted him to win. langris is a spoilt brat compared to him. plus zenon is so much cooler. langris is a spoilt kid who thinks he is special and that makes him a massive dick whilst zenon is a dude who fights for his nation with all his devilish heart.

2. megicula vs noelle and nozel: honeslty I liked megicula even more than noelle and nozel. those royal snobs should have been killed. even vanica seems more likable compared to noelle. honeslty noelle is irritating in the anime cause she hits asta so much and used to insult him for being a peasent earlier onwards.

3. lucius vs damnatio: honsetly i was glad damnatio was turned into a paladin by lucius and got whooped by black bulls. lucius is likable for me cause he plays well into the holier thou character and does an excellent job plus mindfucking with all the protagonist by bringing their loved ones back to life as paladin slaves is epic. he is my favourite villian for that reason.

4. dante vs black bulls: dude is unhinged evil and i like it.

5. formers wizard kings vs everyone: conrad goals seem just and heroic and the respect he shows to asta when meeting him is epic. Dude is 100 times better than the usless king of the clover kingdom

6. zagred and patolli are much more likable than the clover king: because they are smart and evil, zagred is pure evil plus they are so much more likable cause there character designs and voices are perfect.

This is just my personal opinion and rant about some characters

The animation quality was absolutely amazing. That's all.

First episode was so hype.

Very interesting and a nice touch/foreshadow. I wonder with they're going to emphasize or affirm the clock tower theory.

i’m confused on why we didn’t get a backstory on lucius, he was in a wheelchair (maybe he was cursed? actually the whole curse sub plot need to be explained bc what’s up with gordon’s family knowing megicula and other characters under curses just cause megicula been defeated doesn’t means the subplot should get thrown away it was so interesting 😭) and to get ahold of a demon powerful like astaroth he would’ve defeated the devil so did he make a sacrifice or something? also astaroth and asta have similar name which kinda make me think the author is hinting at they being related somehow there (i hope not though, i think that would lowkey be bad writing if it was canon so i hope it will stay a theory 💀) i rather believe the theory that the “asta have no dad” theory rather than the devil (or julius/lucius) being his dad lol it doesn’t make sense for the entire purpose of this series

i know the manga just ended in may but there’s so much questions i love this world building i hope it get a spin off or something
