Near Speed of Sound Blue Angels F/A 18 over Aquatic Park

Not the best show but some cool very low high speed passes near the speed of sound in dense air

Low road in El Centro is now closed

Not sure if anyone in here attended winter training ever, but some idiot photographers posted viral videos frequently showing a low pass from last year and it reached the higher ups. The base CO was commanded to shut it down. The person responsible stood right underneath the flight line on a takeoff, parked his 15 foot tall sprinter van right there and stood on the roof of it. Video’d it and posted it. Multiple people there had told him to move his van, and to not stand on the roof. And many people told him not to post it. He shrugged them off any posted anyway. The video clocked 45 million views on instagram. Now its closed and gone for everyone. He just cared about getting likes and shares. A pathetic human. Anyways, Thats what happened. Bad day in the blues community. I went to el centro for 6 years. Not anymore.

Will Day 1 (Friday) have the exact same fleet in the air as the 2nd day? (Saturday)

I want to go Saturday and I’m interested in seeing all the aircraft. I’m curious if I’ll miss out on seeing some by going Saturday.

What time do the Blue Angels take off everyday this week in SF?

I remember they'd typically do a practice run around 3PM and I leave around 10AM on the last day. I can't remember exactly the schedule. I live right where they take off near Oakland Airport so I definitely want to see it.
