Does anybody know if a checklist exists for a BOT tandem read? Id like to check off the chapters as I go. Does this type of list exist? Thanks

so like at the end of taming 7, claire travels to school with gibsie but she usually comes to school with hughie. and hughie is already in the common room in the very last scene. so what do yall think is gonna be hughies stance in this while thing? do yall think him and liz are back together at this point?

i'm on k13 and i've seen lizzie being mean to gibsie (before it was little comments that i didn't really care about) but is it going to get worse ??😭 i know her trauma and it lowkey validates it ? or justifies ?? idk the word. but i get her it's just so irritating at time

i want to write a fanfic about shane holland, and i want people’s opinions on it! i don’t support shane, neither do i like him, but i feel like it’ll be a great complex story i could challange myself with.

i dont want to romanticise him or give him the benefit of the doubt. i simply think it’ll be interesting to make up his own little story.

think of it as a bait and switch— kind of like suzanne collins’ book about coriolanus snow. it’s to “understand“ the character‘s trauma/past, while also not excusing the character‘s behaviour.

So i have contemplating on writing this and i saw a post that says mike is not much of a bad father but in my own opinion Mike is just as worst as teddy and Keith are. He was such a horrible father but he was good too I believe he loves lizzie in his own fucked up way but overall he is just as bad. I know how hard having a child with mental health problem is but that doesn't excuse him for the abuse he put lizzie through her daddy issue comes from the fact that he always put caoimhe first and the amount verbal abuse he has put her through is insane. He always fight with Catherine over lizzie saying horrible thing while she is in the house and can still hear him and he manipulated lizzie to go through electroshock theraph ig?? I am not sure though but we can also see that he doesn't want to see better option for lizzie for her to get better he just wants to put her in a mental hospital and be done with her forever. I hope the reason he divorced Catherine is because her asked her to choose between her and him and she finally chose her daughter. I feel bad for Catherine though😭😭

I completely understand Patrick and Katie fans being excited for their book. Fans of every other couple were excited to finally get their favorites’ story too, and there’s obviously nothing wrong with preferring one couple over another.
But am I the only one who finds it kind of rude and childish that under basically every video of people being excited for C10, there are always comments like “I couldn’t care less about Lizzie and Hugh, I just want F12/H7”?
You can be excited for your favorite couple’s book without putting down another book in the series. Especially when it’s a book CW is clearly putting a lot of time and effort into. Katie and Patrick are her characters too—they literally exist because of her—so I don’t really understand the need to constantly dismiss or insult a book she’s writing just because it isn’t about your favorites.
And honestly, even if Hughie and Lizzie aren’t your favorite couple, I don’t understand not wanting C10 at all. It’s clearly going to be so much more than just their romance. It’s a major book for the overall plot, it’s going to be important for Gibsie’s arc, and we’ll probably finally learn a lot more about Katie and Patrick too, considering how little we actually know about them so far.
And after everything that came out in R10, I genuinely can’t imagine not wanting to see Lizzie finally get some justice.
I don’t know, at this point a lot of these comments feel more like stan wars than genuine opinions about the books. You absolutely don’t have to love Hughie and Lizzie or expect C10 to be your favorite, but if you love this series, C10 is obviously going to be a pretty central and important part of the story. You can look forward to F12/H7 without acting like C10 is some pointless obstacle you have to get through first.

So the fact yall people are writing paragraph in my comment is good keep it up yall😭 so anyways I saw some of yall say that she has the right to build resentment toward lizzie is really questionable cause if this is the case I hope your bestfriend never date your brothers I mean uhmmm what is wrong with you people so u think it is okay for your bestfriend to build resentment t😭oward you just because her brother is your boyfriend and you are closer idk your mentality but that is...... and another thing is yeah they have been horrible to eachother but I think claire is worse I know she was 11 when hughie and lizzie started dating but she wasn't 11 when they broke up and from the book I have seen claire bring up katie and hughie infront of lizzie multiple times cause even if she never understood why they broke up she could atleast keep her opinion to herself and some of you mentioned that tye characters doesn't know what we know some from lizzie's perspective it looks like her bestfriend chose her sister's killer because all lizzie and know and manipulated into believing is the fact that gibs killed her sister even though it is not true that is what she knows and If any of you was in her place you would distance yourself from her and just like some of you agree that claire doesn't have the same narrative as us lizzie also doesn't and lizzie really tried to put claire first we can see in r10 that lizzie doesn't show much affection toward hughie and missed out on alot of things because claire would be mad when they are together but I didn't see the same grace toward lizzie and yeah sometimes I hope claire could have tried to understand lizzie the same way she did for gibsie but she didn't. And the thing that me and is the fact she called caoimhe a fucking accomplice,and telling her she doesnt know anything as if she does is pretty much disgusting and she literally told gibsie secret just to win an argument woahhh such a classic shit girlie had one letter and thought she knew the whole truth and i wanna see some of you try and defend this claire is a good person and but not a good friend😭

I didn't really know what to title it, so pardon me but guys, I regret reading the series right now.

Like I just wish I had waited until all the books were out because not only do I need Claire and Gibs but I NEED katie and feely. I also love hughliz, I just don't like them as much as some do. But like Chloe, if you're seeing this, I NEED the series to be done yesterday. I am literally YEARNING to read about Claire and Gibsie falling in love all over again and Patrick watching from the sidelines.

I'm not excited about the cheating though. Anyone else? I've just never been a big fan of cheating and I don't want katie OR hughie to cheat on one another.

Anyways, give me the rest of the series NOW. I just need them all to have a happy ending so I can sleep peacefully.

Also is it me but do I feel like I mostly think about Lizzie because the 13s and the 6s ended happily and Taming 7 was well...whatever that was? (No hate lol but 400 pages was not enough. We should've definitely had a liz situation where the first part was just Gibsie when he was younger being raped [okay that sounds SUPER odd please fogrive my awful writing but do you guys get what i mean?])

Like since Liz didn't finish her story happily, I just think more about her.

Just finished S6 and I opened up my package and on first glance R6 looked the same thickness as S6.

Then I opened it and noticed how thiiiin the pages are so I got curious and flipped to the end. I can’t believe it’s so long. I’m so happy because I love Joey so much, he makes my heart hurt!!

so i wanted to rant a little about this because it really bothers me and i wanted to see if anyone else feels this way…. i feel like this fandom is way too comfortable with ”poking fun at shannon”

i know every character unfortunately (especially the woman) fall victim to the bot fandom and the weird ways people talk about them and maybe it’s just my fyp but i feel like the jokes are especially about shannon and i will even throw liz in there too… maybe it’s because this fandom can’t be normal about female victims or something. ANYWAY. i am going to list some things that i have seen this fandom say about her that gets on my nerves and i am probably going to forget some and need to add more later but these jokes aren’t funny like who even finds them funny in the first place? and the jokes below are almost “normalized” in the fandom like they are overdone and people are too comfortable with making them…

1. the lego jokes… this one started because someone made a post talking about “how when johnny asked her who hurt her and she said she tripped over legos” now this one doesn’t really get joked about anymore but OMG it used to be everywhere. and i always found the videos ppl made so weird because it’s about her bruises or being abused.

2. the ”the abusical jokes“ 😭😭😭 i actually envy anyone who isn’t on bot tiktok

3. her body. more so her weight. jokes about “her fried eggs breasts”

4. “pov little shannon accidentally falls over from a sneeze and now the core ten comes and attacks me” “when shannon is so small she blows over in a gust of wind” this one actually pisses me tf off. (this one will only make sense if you are on bot tiktok)

5. the aloe vera jokes and the mocking only being about shannon ? (i made a whole ass post on this a while ago because the double standards between how gibsie and joey are treated when they did the same thing to their love interest drives me crazy and no one talks about it) i have legit seen people make videos about her body parts which is so weird

6. the yn/ceo jokes…. i don’t think i would have a problem with it if shannon wasn’t small for a reason? and needed protection for a reason. it has to do with her abuse that’s why it bothers me

7. “the 13s are so sad…..oh just wait for the 6s!” “shannon’s pov of him or us was sad but joeys pov of him or us BROKE me” hey so they both almost die ???? and i don’t consider this one poking fun at shannon, it’s just a thing people say that bothers me. like let’s stop. its like people think it’s a requirement to flood every video of someone reading binding 13 (OR TAMING 7) and mention how the next books are “sadder”.

8. the jokes and mocking about embarrassing moments the shan went through…listen i get finding things cringe but they are suppose to be relatable. it’s not written in so you guys can mock them. tbh i think it’s just this fandom that finds everything embarrassing because i saw someone call SEAN LYNCH corny for calling johnny onny 😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐😐 and it had over a hundred likes.

9. this one isn’t a joke people make but i want to add it…. “i can forgive shannon’s mother but not joeys”…. i am not further elaborating 💀

*btw this isn’t me discrediting any other jokes people make about other characters because i am well aware it happens. i’ve seen people make fun of joeys drug addiction or katie’s eating disorder a disturbing amount of times. i just wanted to make a post about the things i see people say about shannon because i feel it’s so ”normalized“ or people are “way to comfortable“ to say or joke about these things. like the whole “just wait for the 6s” thing actually does my head in.

maybe i’ll make a part 2 with lizzie…. and this isn’t even a rant tbh it’s more of i want to bring kinda “awareness“ in a way and kinda show how insensitive some of these jokes… hoping that maybe people will like stop doing this if it’s brought up enough. but like if we are being honest people are still gonna make these jokes regardless lmao

and you don’t have to agree with me or you can think i am being over dramatic that’s okay 😭 i just wanna see if anyone feels the same way. like yeah i know shannon is fictional but these situations are not. real people reading these books deal with anxiety like myself or have experienced abuse or malnourishment and read the books relating to the characters and enter the fandom only see the way people talk about these very serious topics. maybe we should all learn something from shannon and just be little nicer in general guys 🫩 and to HER she’s too real for this fandom i fear
