I can’t find any gyms that just offer open play volleyball, are there any recommendations in the Burlington/Elon/Greensboro area that offers open play? I’m looking to explore a bit and get out there and play some volleyball!

I’m only here for a few weeks so joining a league isn’t really an option.

My wife and I are new to Burlington (Nov 2025) and we have no family here. We didn't realize how hard it was going to be raising a 1 year old without grandparents, aunts or siblings around to help or allow for date nights. We are in desperate need of a solution.

Are there any good local babysitters that are reputable? Any companies that do this type of thing? I just don't know what the options are and could use some guidance. We don't mind paying at this point so any recommendations are helpful.

Just got service for 2017 Kia Soul and some TECH Changed my temperature to degrees F from Celsius. We call them Lil' Dich! FDT and Burlington KIA.

I am coming to visit my boyfriend in Burlington in a week and I play volleyball. I’m looking for some pickup volleyball or some rec volleyball i could possibly join for the time being? Does any one have any info? Plz let me know!

I’m a sound and healthy mind. Now that it’s out of the way time for the story.

It was a little bit past 8:30 PM nights ago and I was outside observing airplanes since the backyard is pretty clear of trees or any kind of coverage. I had my telescope and binoculars with me. My routine is pretty simple. I opened up my flight tracking app and then whenever there’s an aircraft that I want to take a look at I just look at it with my binoculars before going into the night when I start using my telescope for stargazing. I have been able to pick up an airplane flying north however it was at this time that I saw a red orange orb flying. I want to estimate 10,000 to 15,000 feet in the air. I figured perhaps satellite, but then it went from north to West to south to west before disappearing by fading out. Anybody else seen something like that here
