After janitor made that stupid plus update, all my swipes have been dry. And I don't wanna to pay, what do I do? Where do I go?

I’ve been working on an app called  lizlis.

It’s an AI character + story chat app focused more on interactive storytelling than just “ask an AI questions.”

You can:

• chat with AI characters naturally
• influence the direction of scenes through your replies
• create your own characters and story worlds
• generate images from story moments
• play romance, fantasy, drama, mystery, slice-of-life, etc.
• do open-ended roleplay instead of following a fixed script

One thing I wanted to avoid was the feeling that every conversation eventually collapses into repetitive chatbot responses.

So the app is designed around:

• scene progression
• relationship changes
• multiple characters in one conversation
• branching interactions
• story-style pacing

You can play as yourself, create an OC, or just experiment with chaotic choices and see where the story goes.

The community has been using it for:

• romance RP
• fantasy adventures
• anime-style stories
• emotional/dramatic chats
• character creation
• sandbox roleplay

There’s both mobile and web support currently.

Would genuinely like feedback from people who are into:

(10)pipsqueak should be a suggestion while letting others choose the "retired" models. we should keep the best models and not the bullshit ones. cool summer can be quite dynamic and changes over time, leaving us room for preference. it should tell us if the model that cool summer provides is wanted, and if so, should be implemented and with a name! (the cool summer we have rn should be called vero : "roleplays like legacy models, only better". even if it isnt better, its just marketing phrase.)

(14)in my meaning of dynamic, in probably a week to give them time to set with their cool summer model, and after a week we shall give voting and like ratings like 80% liked 20% disliked, and send how liked the 4 models are, (a month lol), and if the highest vote wins, we instate that model and give it a name! the 2nd and 3rd models will probably be stated too, being accompanied by criticism, the 2nd and 3rd winning models will be labeled as "beta" which asks for criticism.

Back to Character AI it is...

I'm the developer of Erogen and I'm been building an alternative for those who are fed up with restrictions on other sites. My main goal is to build the best platform for adults who are looking for a long-term solution for their nightly chatbot needs.

Recently I've been working very hard on the site's image and video capabilities. In-chat images are better than ever, with more first person POV accuracy to the scene, and I'm diving deep into video capabilities.

I want to know what you want to see in a chatbot that will soon be video-first, I basically want Erogen to very soon be the primary future adult webcam site for AI where you can explore any scenario, adventure, and fantasy. This means you feel like you're chatting more over facetime with always-moving characters than a text message chat.

One constraint: Video AI is pretty expensive and time consuming to generate, so I'll have to be smart in my approach.

What would you like to see in your ideal video chatbot AI?

Upfront: I built this, so this is a self-promo post I guess.

I work in the AI/LLM space (finetuning, harnesses, some open-source), and the companion apps I used kept dying on the same two things: the character forgets everything after a while, and the good parts always end up paywalled by a company you know will squeeze you later.

So I built Nodera.ai, now in free web early access so you cant even spend money even if you wanted to. What it does differently:

📲 Swipe feed, not a directory. You discover characters TikTok-style instead of scrolling a wall of cards, later on this changes where companions make their own posts and this gets shown in the feed instead.

💞 Relationships that grow over time. Whatever the bond is, it deepens as you talk, the character opens up, shifts how they treat you, and unlocks more of their story and galleries the closer you get.

🧠 Memory that holds. A layer underneath tracks the plot and the relationship so long chats stay coherent and progressing instead of quietly resetting.

The real goal is a local desktop version: bring your own models, get every community character, free forever. Nothing on my servers means nobody can enshittify it later. That's the whole point of doing this.
