Planning a Bachelors Night - would love advice

Hi there I'm seeking advice:

I'm planning a bachelor's night in Chengdu October 4th-ish and hoping to get some advice from locals.

For context: I've never been to China. I'd love to put together a night that blends both Western bachelor party traditions and Chinese ones.

I've been reading a bit about nao dongfang / nao xinniang (闹洞房 / 闹新娘) customs and want to make sure I'm being respectful of the culture while still having a good time.

Group will be 5-6 guys, none of us speak Mandarin except the groom, though he's not Chineese and limited knowledge on Chengdu.

I recognize this is during Golden Week, so would love insights about the challenges as well.

Thank you!

Any Portuguese speaker(s) living here? 🇧🇷

I have a YT travel channel for the Brazilian public, will finish a 2 month China trip in Chengdu at the end of May

Although I do not do interviews in my channel, I would love to interview a Brazilian living in China or a resident who speaks Portuguese 🇨🇳🇵🇹🇦🇴

Studying Mandarin for a year at Sichuan University. What can I expect?

I'll be graduating college soon and next year I decided with my family that I'd live in China for a year and study Mandarin at Sichuan University. I'm Chinese American and I can understand Chinese from speaking it at home with family, so I mostly want to improve my writing/reading skills and experience life in a different enviroment. How is Sichuan University for international students? Are there any Asian American students? Is it easy to make friends?

I've also been to Chengdu a couple times and my grandparents live in a retirement home nearby.
