Is this a good Chucky doll for beginners?

How durable is this? my bratty cousins are always throwing their stuff around

What accessories do you recommend? I want to customize him into my own Chucky with bracelets and accessories

My first Chucky doll in years of being a fan I’m very nervous and excited to buy him for possibly my birthday 😅 He looks like a silly little guy lol

Is it safe to say that we won’t see Karen or Mike returning to the series at this point?

While Andy’s mother was mentioned in Child’s Play 2, Curse of Chucky was the first time both were mentioned in over 20 years. Now 13 years another movie, a tv series, and another movie with a long awaited theatrical release on the way…is it safe to say we won’t here of or see Karen Barclay and Detective Mike Norris return? It was surprising that they didn’t even get any type of shoutout during the runtime of the show; given that Andy was on the show for 8 episodes. If they haven’t showed up yet is there any point to?

Honestly, in my opinion, the franchise doesn’t need a new entry.

Keep in mind, I love Chucky and the franchise, and despite the title, I will see anything they produce from the original timeline as long as I’m alive. But the truth is, we don’t really need a new entry. I think the ending to season 3 is as perfect of an ending as we will ever be able to get. Chuck is the main character of the franchise. And there is no death we could believe at this point is final. The series can only end with him “out there” causing havoc, being a legend. At the end of season 3, he’s won. Him and Tiff are going on a road trip with an evil child, GG is out exploring Europe. The three Chuckskiteers have been defeated. In my opinion, only Nika’s fate is unsatisfactory, but I’m willing to deal with that and just assume she’s a doll or dead. Again, I’ll watch whatever Don does with Chucky, but I think we got as perfect end to this timeline as we could.

So I came across this video on Instagram of this video store in LA and I’m just wondering where the hell they got this doll? It looks exactly like the Neca prototype

Just rewatched Child's Play 1 after a few years, so here's my quick thoughts on it.

Great film despite its flaws. I especially liked the tension, having Chucky be more subtle was a really nice move, leading to some amazing sequences like that one that ended with him killing the babysitter, or Karen slowly realizing Andy wasn't lying about Chucky being alive.

However, the premise of the film ends up fucking up said tension sometimes, as in that same scene of Karen, the moment Chucky comes to life I just started laughing, it looks so funny seeing that stupid doll trying to bite her, and even funnier was that whole sequence of him trying to kill Mike in the car, in which I was just cackling uncontrollably.

And some of the flaws in the practical effects also contribute to ruining the tension in said scenes, but I won't judge it too hard on that, especially since this is an old movie that was very impressive at the time, and there are moments where it does looks pretty good. He looked pretty sick when he was burned.

I also really like that detail of him getting slowly more human throught the film, and that is seen with the doll changing throught the film, like having his hair getting shorter and closer to Charlies'. Shame that wasn't kept as much in Child's Play 2, and wasn't present at all in Child's Play 3.

I haven't seen the others besides the trilogy, so I intend to rewatch the trilogy and also watch the ones I haven't seen (Bride, Seed, Curse and Cult), except for the TV show, which I'm not very interested in.
