Zyn Ultras?
Do any of you know if/when Zyn Ultras will be hitting Circle Ks? The one by me just redid their whole pouch wall and a ton of open/empty Zyn spots so assume soon? Just don't know if there's any insider info of when they'll land.

I’m going to say the part nobody wants to admit: some Circle K employees are actively making Shiftsmart shifts harder before we even arrive.
I’ve seen stores hide or “lose” the printer, claim they don’t know where supplies are, refuse to explain where basic items are located, say the app/task isn’t their problem, or act like we’re bothering them just by showing up for a shift Circle K scheduled. Then when the work doesn’t get done perfectly, they turn around and say, “See? Shiftsmart workers don’t know what they’re doing.”
That is not a fair system.
If a worker is assigned food prep, bin prep, cooler, or any store task, we need access to the tools required to do the job. If the label printer is missing, the food isn’t available, the manager won’t confirm what needs to be done, or employees intentionally create confusion, then that’s not a “bad Shiftsmart worker.” That’s a setup.
And before someone says “then just ask,” a lot of us do ask. We ask where the printer is. We ask what needs to be prepped. We ask where the products are. We ask what the store wants done. Some workers get ignored, talked down to, turned away, or treated like we’re already guilty before we even start.
Are there bad Shiftsmart workers? Absolutely. Report them. Are there people who steal, make messes, or don’t care? Sure. But acting like every failed shift is because of the contractor while ignoring store-level sabotage, missing equipment, bad communication, and hostile employees is dishonest.
Circle K and Shiftsmart created this system. Store employees and contractors are being thrown into the same mess with no real coordination, and then everyone blames the lowest-paid person standing there trying to figure it out.
If stores want the work done right, stop hiding the tools, stop withholding basic information, stop treating every contractor like a problem, and actually let people do the job they were assigned to do.
Are the rules the same as for alcohol? Or is it 24hrs considering THC products are sold 24hrs at smoke shops?
Anyone else ok with missing fireworks for that sweet 1.5x pay for working. I'm loving it haha
I’ll be there from 2 to 8 PM
Happy 4th of July y’all!
I have not gotten a raise this year. Why and how does this work?
I know the hourly varies from state to state but what's a good number to ask for? How did you negotiate higher? I got offered $21 but I currently make the same in a way less demanding job. I think $23 is a reasonable number to ask for given the responsibility, work demand and being 24/7 on call. One last thing, does anyone know what the hourly cap is on a SM?
So the other day, on July 1st, I had a guy come in to cash in a $200 ticket. I know i validated it on the machine but yesterday my manager tells me im 220 short on lottery. I already explained the additional 20 dollars: I rung him up with 200 lotto winner, he bought 40 in more tickets, and his change was supposed to be 160. I know i shouldnt have cashed it out in the first place, because I didn’t have it in my drawer. So i gather $140, 80 from my drawer and a tube of 10 5s plus my manager gave me another 10 from her drawer. Then she says just give him the rest in tickets. This is my third mess up in this situation, thats where the other $20 comes in. I rung it up as an additional 20 winner, so now the lotto on the computer totals to 220, but i guarantee he only received the 200. I already know everything i did wrong. My concern is:
What happens if I didn’t confirm the payout on the lotto machine? Has anybody messed up in a similar way and how was it handled? Its a Texas lotto terminal. Do they have at least access to the fact that the ticket was in fact validated on the machine?
Are we fucking serious?
Why do I have people showing up to do “shifts” that have never had any hands on training. Am I getting paid to train these people? Fuck this company. Fuck shift smart.
I am ASM for circle k and today they came in and completely gutted our store taking our oven, bakery display, food warmer and rollergrill due to low sales. I still have shiftsmart coming in and have to turn them away and makes me feel a little bad since they now lose their opportunity to work a shift even though theyre a little in the way sometimes lol, I had a shiftsmart worker tell us her account was flagged for fraud or something due to being turned away.
I was just wondering if theres any way to take our store off the app so people dont pick up shifts for us?
Theyre no longer on our schedule anymore either so not sure how theyd even get paid for their time.
Manager is out of town for the next week and a half but its just a hassle and I dont want to have to wait for her to return to figure it out.
Just like I said, found out there’s nothing you can do about it except a bad review on iPad he can come back we can’t trespass him. Nice knowing you all.
my manager is so anal, and bc I refuse to use my personal phone to send pictures of tasks directly to his number, this is how he acts. I dont know how anyone has work with this guy. I’ve gotten two writes up for not sending pictures and I looked into this he can’t make up some shit and act like it’s a new policy. I have reported him but be careful applying to this place you might get a shit manager who’s anal and micro manages stupid shit.
I do overnights. I have to clean the fuck out of this shit hole of a store. I know they also expect me to put the truck away and stock coolers but I honestly just dont have time and im slow at it anyway.
This is me trying to stock: go into the cooler, see an empty spot. Ok, what goes here. DING DONG.
ok go deal with customer, which could be anywhere from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. Go back to cooler, find the empty spot, ok what goes here DING DONG
go deal with customer, again maybe 1 minute, might be 30! Now back to the cooler. Ok i need a blue mountain dew now where are those DING DONG....
How about the 5 people working day shift do the stocking and put the truck away. The people who can do it uninterrupted because they have someone on register. The people who are far more familiar with where everything is and where everything goes.
Already called my manager and he said he doesn’t know either.
It’s rung like 3 or 4 times in the span of 5 minutes and it’s very loud and alarming. Asked if I should be concerned about it for anything but he said no.
Ive been a CSR for over 2.5 years and I've always had black shirts. All of the sudden we got a new DM and im not allowed to get new black shirts but I can wear my old ones. Is there any way I can get new ones that's not through my manager or would anyone be able to get me some, im willing to pay for them.
Just wanted to see if they really got rid of the dollar Celsius if you bought a color pop. I used to get it all the time :(
Has anyone else noticed that you can no longer see your Compensation History on Workday? Or maybe it was called Pay Change History, something like that. There was an option on your workday profile where you could see all of your compensation changes from when you started, evaluation raises, yearly raises, promotional raises, those kinds of things. I was looking today and it's no longer listed on my workday profile. I wanted to see when my last 900hr raise was so I could calculate when I was due for my next one.
You can see on KONNECT how many hours you've worked in total during your employment but that doesn't tell me when my last raise was. I liked being able to keep track of my pay increases, as anyone would.
Idk..Seems sus to me..😐
Question, is there repercussions for not doing them. The manager is on me about getting them done. And it seems every time I use the app I have log in issues, and I manage to lock my account. And it tells me to contact my administrator. Manager tells me I have to call IT and have them fix it. But to me it seems they want me to do the learning they should call IT. I don't have the time to call them and watch all the zombies shuffling in and out between ringing up npc's.
Is this a me problem or them?
THIS IS FOR PEOPLE THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SHIFTSMART
I need some help, I did a snack prep shift today that i got turned away by the manager. He said they dont do hotfood at this location anymore and from what I could see in the store he was right, there was no hot food anywhere. So I reported it in the app and took a selfie in the backroom to show I was there and I also checked in for the shift. My payment got denied and I dont know how to fix this, any help is greatly appreciated.
