Wild warranty

So their products wear out insanely fast for the price ( 5.5 months on both keyboard spacebars, leas on the keyboard lettering paint), and their warranty program sucks. They know their product has a short life, so the warranty doesnt renew to apply to the replacement product they send you ( like most product warranties ive dealt with before -if the product breaks wears out from normal use or stops working from cheap factory build specs you get a replacement product that comes with a warranty as well), but not with these people. Ive known of hippies with electric bongs that had better warranties and support staff. Wildly disappointing company and product. Sont waste your money unless youre rich enough to buy a replacement every 12 months and 1 day.

If you do decide to throw away money on a keyboard that will probably last less than 6 months, make sure to get as many replacements as you can in your 12 month. Don't let a problem go on, or you might get a couple days past your original, replaced products warranty time. My keyboard on the second case was flaking off after less than 3 months, AGAIN, but i used nail gel to fix and stop the problem. The spacebar stopped again at almost exactly 12 months, and my adhd executive dysfunction didnt immediately hop on to tackling the warranty replacement program again. Ouch, couple days later in late, cause my warranty wasnt with this product. It was still tethered to the original product that was already replaced.

[MEGATHREAD] Power Keyboard Shipping Inquiry

To help keep the subreddit organized, all discussion regarding Power Keyboard shipping delays, order status updates, frustration about not being included in the first 5,000 units, delivery estimates, and related questions should be kept in this thread.

Many community members are understandably disappointed after learning their orders will be shipping later than expected. Rather than having multiple posts covering the same topic, please use this thread to:

  • Share order dates and shipping updates
  • Discuss communications you've received from Clicks
  • Ask questions about delays or timelines
  • Vent frustrations (while remaining respectful)
  • Help other members stay informed

Before posting:

  • Check whether your question has already been answered in this thread.
  • If you're posting an update, include your order date and region if you're comfortable doing so.
  • Keep discussion civil and avoid personal attacks toward other users or staff.

New standalone posts about shipping delays may be redirected here so information remains centralized.

We'll update this thread if any significant new information becomes available.

Thank you for your patience and for helping keep the subreddit organized.

Follow-up post on Power Keys!

Hello again! I have gathered some more thoughts after using the Power Keys intensively since Saturday. So I thought it fitting to make an update on my previous post. Hopefully it can answer the questions some of you guys left last time as well.

*The first pic is a silly reference to MrMobile's Clicks Cruciform on his video.

  1. I know most folks getting this thing probably aren't doing it for the wireless charging features, but I tried it out anyway. To my experience, Power Keys managed to help the phone maintain its charge but never boost it. It also said 'slow charger' on my iPhone every time I tried it, which indicates that it was likely charging at below 5W. Also, the keyboard also entered reserve mode and paused charging only minutes after charging whenever I tried charging with it. Hopefully I'm not looking at a defective battery here. There should be more options to tweak the charging behaviour in the app when the update comes so I look forward to finding some fixes there should there be any.

  2. The typing experience continues to impress me. The smaller size of the keys compared to the case became negligible after few days of usage and I found myself getting used to the new layout and size quite quickly. The added symbols are also very useful along with the media controls accessed via the num row + sym key.

  3. I mentioned the top-heaviness last time and after spending more time typing, I can safely say Power Keys is a huge improvement over the case in this department. Typing while standing or walking outside feels way more secure and you never feel like the phone is flying off of your hands once you got a good grip going, whereas with the case, I would feel very cautious about dropping the phone because of how heavy the top of the phone feels. That being said, the case might still be a better choice for typing for long periods in a stationary position due to its larger keys and lighter weight.

  4. I still stand by the impressions I left last time regarding the build quality. The slider feels sturdy and never collapses on its own while typing. It takes a light jolt with a hefty phone like the 17 Pro Max to shut the keyboard and I found that to be a satisfying, albeit unintentional way of closing it with one hand.

  5. A few more grumbles before I go. I wish the keyboard connects faster after you deploy it. It takes about 3/4 of a second to connect, which is just long enough to feel like you're waiting for it a little. Also, I encountered a few occasional signal drops with my iPad. Hopefully the connectivity is something that they can improve with firmware updates.

That about does it for me this time! I probably won't post anymore impressions like this for the meantime until there is something huge to discuss/share. Once again, I welcome any questions you got and am happy to answer them :)

Believing in the Product vs. Believing the Marketing: A Batch 1 Reality Check

TL;DR: I am keeping my preorder because the hardware looks incredible, but the Spring shipping milestone is pure marketing spin. Clicks missed their April factory window, air-freighted a tiny 5,000-unit run this month to save face, and is using that to mask a massive delay. The remaining 95% of Batch 1 will likely ship via slow boat due to hazmat costs, which is inevitably going to make Batch 2 slightly late as well. A far cry from the spring promise.

I want to start by making one thing crystal clear: I genuinely believe in this product. As a mobile enthusiast, the vision for this hardware is fantastic, and I fully intend to keep my preorder. The creators have designed something the market desperately needs, and I want Clicks to succeed.

However, over the last few months, I’ve had to completely separate my enthusiasm for the physical device from my trust in the marketing team’s timelines. After finding out (after I pre-ordered) how they handled the RAZR case debacle, it became clear they like to play a pretty cocky game with their backers. They seem to operate under the assumption that we don't understand, or can't easily find out, how global fulfillment and manufacturing actually work. It feels disrespectful to be fed vague timelines and then hit with a "well, technically" defense after what any reasonable person would assume they meant goes completely out the window, especially when the community can see the actual reality through the shared shipping updates.

Here is the descriptive reality of overseas manufacturing that the marketing team is trying to gloss over. Production is not a continuous, rolling conveyor belt. These shared factories operate on strict, pre-booked windows. Originally, Clicks likely had a clear roadmap: a large April window for Batch 1, a mid-June window for Batch 2, and a July transition into continuous, scaled production.

What actually happened is that Clicks fell behind and completely missed that critical April window for Batch 1. To scramble and avoid a total PR nightmare, they managed to secure a small, isolated production run last month in May to pump out just 5,000 units.
Those 5,000 units only covered a mere matter of hours on launch day, January 2nd. Yet, the marketing team is using this tiny emergency batch right now to project a false narrative to the remaining 95% of Batch 1 backers that everything is moving smoothly and orders are actively shipping. It’s a deceptive move designed to stave off mass cancellations before the official end of Spring on June 20th.

The real kicker is what happens next week when the factory finally spins up the main production lines for the mid-June window. Because that window is now entirely clogged trying to manufacture the overwhelming majority of Batch 1, the timeline collapses. They paid premium air freight surcharges on that small May batch purely to buy themselves a PR shield and get unboxing videos dropping. However, air-freighting tens of thousands of units with built-in lithium-ion batteries is a hazmat and financial nightmare that would absolutely destroy their profit margins. Because of that, the bulk of Batch 1 is almost certainly going to be put on a slow ocean boat.

The ripple effect of this is that the entire ramp-up into full production shifts. Because Batch 1 is eating up the schedule right now, Batch 2 is inevitably going to be slightly late, pushed back by the bottleneck that the marketing team refuses to acknowledge. A far cry from the spring promise.
Despite all of the logistical smoke and mirrors, I am not going anywhere. The engineering and design behind this device still look incredibly solid, and I have high hopes that it is going to be a highly durable, game-changing accessory. The hardware team clearly put their hearts into building a great product. I just look forward to the day the keyboard is finally in our hands so we can stop dealing with the marketing spin and just enjoy the device.

Fu*king hell...

So last week people started getting their power keyboards. Our fellow redditor u/sejmann has determined that the cutoff of the very first shipment is Jan 2 at around 4pm EST. I placed my order on Jan 2 11:58pm EST and of course I heard nothing from Clicks.

Previously, I have sent them an email asking if I was in the first 5000, and I got a reply saying that "your order is in Batch 1 which is in the first 5,000 units" (from an actual staff answered, not from Christina, the AI of Clicks).

Fast forward to days ago, after seeing people getting their keyboards last week, I was wondering if I was going to get my device soon, so I emailed them once again and asked them if there was something wrong with my order. This time it took them a while before they replied... I was not in the first 5,000.

Long story short, given that I was only hours away from the cutoff, it is clear that the first 5,000 has already been dispatched. Those who didn't get any update last week are NOT in the first 5,000. All hope is lost. I am not complaining and I know we will eventually get our keyboards... but I can't help it to feel a little bit sad 🥲 sorry for the vent.

Pre ordered day 1. Not in the 1st 5000. 😩

Anyone else order on DAY-1 & not get in the 1st 5000 batch?? I asked support when the cutoff time was for the 1st 5000 pre-orders. But all I got was a cage-y non-answer.

Question on production of Power Keyboard

Hi, I preordered my power keyboard Jan 16th and am fully aware that I am not in the initial 5,000. But seeing hands on photos of those who preordered day 1, I can't help but hope for a quicker delivery of my unit.
Anyways, I was looking through the power keyboard page today and noticed that on the timeline they mention that productions continue mid June. I know that this is probably (hopefully) not what I think it means, but does this mean that they are currently pausing production and focusing on shipping the 5,000 initial units?
Just can't wait any longer to receive mine and Wing my iPhone.

Are they still going to produce the Clicks for the Razr?

Was just wondering this since the new 2026 Razr released. I have the 2025, but haven't seen any announcements. I've been wanting to grab it for a minute, but every time it's available I notice it's not up for long.

What if you’re moving?

So I ordered my keyboard on Jan 7th and I wasn’t expecting to move anytime soon. However, I been having issues at my current place and I’m having to relocate in two weeks. How can I update my address? I tried logging in and updating my account but my old man brain can’t figure it out. Any advice?

First impressions w/ comparisons with the 17 Pro Max case

Now that I've spent a bit more time with the Power Keys, I suppose I can give some more thoughts on my experience with it for the curious folks here :)

  1. This thing is pretty well built, feels solid in the hand and decently hefty. The back is also pretty well textured which makes it quite nice to type on.

  2. Compare to the keyboard case, the keys are a bit more stiff and a tad bit lower. which can take some getting used to.

  3. It still feels a bit top-heavy but not as much as with the case. I guess the phone being located a bit higher than the keyboard helps with the balance. Typing in landscape certainly helps even more but with a plus-sized phone, the width of the phone does get in the way a little bit. Of course, it being a bluetooth keyboard also means you can use it separated from your device, which feels very comfortable.

  4. The added no. row is also much appreciated, and it also makes pairing with and shifting between devices super easy, barely an inconvenience.

  5. Only a few gripes so far. You won't want to be using a huge case because it will get the way of the keyboard. Also if you're a fan of phone straps then I got bad news for ya because anything hanging off the phone will also interfere with the input experience.

  6. One last thing, the smooth, matte finish of the front is also quite prone to scratches it seems. Mine already got a scratch from my Pitaka case :(

That's about it for now! I welcome any questions and will do my best to answer any of them.

First Batch =/= First Shipment

Y’all…the first shipment of 5000 has gone out. If you ordered before, like, 1600 EST on Jan 2 you are likely part of the first shipment. If you paid $79 then you are in the first batch.

Just because you didn’t get in the first shipment doesn’t mean you aren’t in the first batch.

Has anyone tried PowerKeys with a big Ultra model yet?

My device is in the first 5000 but will still be some time before getting here. Of those of you that have your device already, how does it fit on magsafe cases on Ultra phones? Vivo x300u, Oppo Find x9u, Xiaomi 17u, etc.
