Waldeck und Pyrmont Last Thaler 1867

The very last Thaler issued by the Principality of Waldeck und Pyrmont, a small state in the West of Germany. The state was so poor that they had to hand over the administration to Prussia more or less at that time although the Princes continued their reign. Frederick, the last Prince and the son of George Victor, pictured here, had 5 and 20 Mark coins struck with his effigy but the mintage was just 2000 of each so it was just vanity, not an economic need.

Here are my most Recent acquisitions an 1896 Queen Victoria LX Crown and a Grand Duchy of Baden 1869 Billon 3 Kreuzer

I’m guessing they are both Roughly in XF Condition Wise Unfortunately The Crown seems to have some Cleaning done to it in the past but is otherwise in Great Condition for its age.

Reichsthaler from Hamburg, 1619

Reverse legend: MONETA NOVA CIVITATI(S) HAMBURGENSIS, "new coinage of the city of Hamburg".

Obverse legend: MATTHIAS D(EI) G(RATIA) ROMA(NUS) IMP(ERATOR) SEM(PER) AUGU(STUS), "Matthias, by the grace of God, Roman emperor, forever augustus".

I paid 140€ for this; was it a good price?
