My latest completion and one of my proudest. I played through the game once on PC years ago, and when I saw new DLC had just released, I decided it was time I returned to the ancient, rumor-shadowed manor.

I just completed slay the princess and I should be happy but honestly I’m just sad it’s over, I’ve 100% quite a few games but none have hit me as hard as this one, I don’t even wanna move onto another game. Absolute masterpiece, 10/10 seriously can’t recommend enough.

Hey all! Decided that with it now being October, I decided that my platinums for the next month will revolve around horror, suspense and/or monsters. I decided that this was a perfect fit for my first SpookTober platinum.

This game was an absolutely beautiful tragedy. I don’t want to spoil any of the story, so I’ll be keeping this post short. This journey of siblings and family is a true masterpiece and I portrays an amazing representation of the 5 stages of grief. The gameplay was fun as it provides an interesting mix of puzzle solving and combat. Some of the most suspenseful elements were the various chase sequences that had you fleeing literal tidal waves of ravenous rats.

Unfortunately, my major critique of the platinum experience revolves around the 3 combat oriented trophies, ‘Sneaky’, ‘Fighter’ and ‘Malignant’. These three revolve around how many of the enemies you kill during the major combat encounters. This is not too bad during the first play through (you can get at least 1 and 1/2 full if you intentionally focus on them) but NG+ makes it a bit more troublesome. NG+ puts the game on the highest difficulty, so try to complete these three becomes exponentially more difficult.

All in all, I recommend this beauty, but highly recommend that anyone trying to platinum this pay close attention during the journey.
