Texting Rules

I feel like the texting rules may be out dated since times are changing but I am not sure so I have been sticking to the book.

I have been trying to get back with my ex, following the 7 principals(I was the dumper) and hurt her. We had an amazing first date - hung out, had fun and hooked up.

We both have our kids for 7 days on, 7 days off at the same time so there is never a chance to see each other during those times as of right now. It was different before when we were together, she would come over as her kids are much older than mine.

We made plans for today 11 days ago, fully laid out as the book says - I am picking her up at this time, on this date etc and she confirmed. She then said, have a good week with your boys.

We haven't spoken since when we made plans. I figured since I hurt her, and we had a good time, I am giving her the space she needs to heal and remember the good time we had on our last date.

If I was seeing her every week like when I didn't have kids when I was younger, it wouldn't be an issue, but we go almost 2 weeks without talking so it's a bit of a different scenario and something I am trying to get used to.

What are your thoughts on this scenario?

After typing this all out, I realized that I would not be following the book by texting her again to reach out or confirm. She can do that in this scenario as me texting her is just me being needy.

So easy going

This I’m sure is an example of what the book and Doc Loves teachings bring out. I went on 2 dates with this girl. I was supposed to know I’m apparently in a relationship already in her mind and need to check in the whole time I’m traveling.

I sent one message about a day into being there - i was gone 5 days. The next day she started asking me if I was with some girl - because she got a call from a Canada number randomly and never did before (I was but why is that her business).

Anyway - not easy going, not easy to get along with. My follow up was basically well clearly you missed me and said to let me know when she was free. Then she wanted me to explain how I had my phone the whole time and didn’t reach out 🤣.

This is the second woman that used this on me - and no I’m not a cold fish. If anything im usually too dopey.

I’ll chalk this up as dodging a bullet. 2 dates in and already this insecure. And when the man she thinks she’s looking for starts checking in all the time, let’s see if she doesn’t reject him too

Can I salvage this?

There is a girl I dated 2 times. She showed really high interest at the beginning like 9/10.

They were really good dates, but I made a blunder, I invited her for a third date at the end of the second date. I know amateur mistake :D

So she punished me and pulled away. Basically she ghosted me for 2 weeks.

I didn't reach out during this time and eventually she came back. Apologized and sent me the text message maybe we can meet sometime. I replied her very shortly yes we can meet sometime.

Then I waited for 9 days and invited her for a date. She was quite submissive and respectful as she agreed and made it easy for me. Still, the air is colder than before ghosting, I can sense her interest level is not 9/10 anymore.

My question: do you think this whole situation is recoverable or I just wasting my time dating her again?

A man approached 1000 women over 15 years. These are the only openers he ever needed.

  1. You caught my attention and I had to come say hi.
  2. Hey, I saw you over there and I had to come say hi.
  3. I don’t know what to say, but I had to come talk to you.
  4. Yeah, I really love your style. I had to come over and tell you.
  5. Hey, you really stand out I had to come and say something.
  6. Hey, you have really great energy! What’s your name?
  7. Hi I saw you walking. Had to come say hi to you.
  8. Hi, I know this is random, but I had to come say hi to you.

My go to Bonus**
9. Hey I thought you seemed interesting and I wanted to come meet you. What’s your name?

Raincheck

Met a girl on Hinge. We clicked immediately and have gone on 3 dates. Her interest level was a 9 after each day. She initiated planning the next dates, gave me days she was available, and fell completely into her feminine.

We set a date on Wednesday to meet Sunday for our 4th date. This was her last day before school starts back up (she's an educator). 2 days later on Frida while she was spending the weekend at her best friend's house, she told me she needed to raincheck the date because of school prep stress. I said no problem and good luck.

She never replied to that text but it also didn't really prompt a response. Should I reach out in any capacity? Or wait her out and be patient?

Blocked numbers on her phone

An ex colleague , reached my gf on February asking her how is her life . She said she was fine and has someone new in her life and going very well and respect each other etc
Then he asked her out with all other girls form ex work or the two of them which was my boundary she is not hanging out with a man the two of them . She said ok . She blocked him on Instagram where he sent her and yesterday she had birthday and he sent her iMessage sms . Wishing her etc writing his name in the end.
I don’t like it at all no matter if you tell me to be cool . It’s a woman who is asking me only exclusivity and boring open and make plans for life. Shouldn’t she block any access ok him and anyone else ?

So she finally understood that he is not that good intentions behind his constant reaching out to her and she understands his intentions . And she blocked him as a contact

We are together 1,5 year . Me 40 she 36 and her family knows we are moving seriously together .
I’m a man that if I have a good respectful woman I m cutting any option out but if I see small signs like these which create doubts in me ,I am also letting it be understood that I will open myself to options too

So after she blocked his number , we went to her blocked numbers list , and I found out 118 blocked numbers without names . I also found out that when you block a contact but then delete it , it’s disappears from blocked and is not blocked anymore even as plain number .

So 1. How to handle her situation?
2. What would you assume for 118 numbers blocked ?

Ambiguous feelings for attraction

So I listened to the book and a ton of videos. I have had an 11 yr marriage young with 2 kids and 2 serious relationships for 6 months since. I am 35.

I appreciate coach wayne. And overall, I think his extreme policies and takes in some ways helped balance me from being too emotional at times. The thing that I feel is lacking in the development in the philosophy is the lack of a daughter to understand better. My actions with a woman I want to reflect the actions I would like a man to treat my daughter with. That is a backbone principle. Would I want a man to not express his emotions directly? No, I think it provides safety to validate.

It’s the simp vs non simp philosophy at its core. A healthy balance is required I feel.

I agree for the overall maintaining self respect and masculine energy. But I also feel like this rigid approach about not telling a girl how you feel (not in an extreme way) it might be akin to a homophobe not comfortable in his masculinity. So they can’t display any behavior that can be interpreted as gay.

Low Exposure Girls and texting phase

Hi all, been following Corey for more than a year.
Recently Youtube recommended me some guy named Bayne and he had some interesting concepts he shared.
Most importantly was the distinction between High Exposure Girls and Low Exposure Girls.
Basically he likes to approach young 18 year olds which never had a partner before. He says most of the time they will try to reject you with an excuse of a boyfriend but he just stays in the interaction has normal small talk, takes their IG and build a relationship over time - this process can take weeks but eventually it's a good deal. He doesn't talk about a date / make it man to women in the interaction as well.
He's basically saying that if a women is very receptive from the get go more chances she is "high exposure" basically used to talking and dating men.
I like Corey's teachings of being aloof and not needy but for these cases of low exposure girls you might need to change strategy a bit.
He also uses Instagram strictly. Also posted the recipts of his girls and it looks really good.
So I think Corey's advice is useful for dating but for this inital phase with the "low exposure" girls we might need to change things up a bit.

Here is a link on a video of "low vs high exposre girls"

She only posts photos of her on her stories from dates and trips we go on

Girlfriend and I have been together for 4 months. Everything seems to be going well but one thing is bugging me and I am not sure if I should consider this as a disrespectful behaviour or not.

Whenever I take her on a nice dinner date, day trip etc (ones I pay for and organise of course) she always posts photos of herself (usually ones I have taken) or the place we visit... but never any of the ones I am in.

I consider these as shared experiences as a couple, yet she consistently presents them to her friends/family as experiences of just her and that I should be unknown.

I don't post any photos at all and keep relatively quiet on social media.

Please note that I have met her close friends and family members, so I don't think she needs to keep me off there in fear that they will say 'who is that?', unless she has another family member who will be asking questions.

Anyone else had this? I have seen girls post photos on dates showing off their boyfriends/dates and/or at least showing a leg or something but for these I could just be a bystander taking these.

I'm officially enrolled at college today

So I was at the wait-list in college for air-conditioning/refrigeration(HVAC) and omg I genuinely love it also I got in 💪🏽. Anyways going to the topic for this page, this has been a day&night difference when I'm out cold approaching. So the day before when I mentioned how I was nearly giving up, today I went from barely having the strength of saying "hi" to someone to now finding ways to keep an engaging conversation. Also instead of getting silent treatments I get rejected straight up. Like omg this is a lot but just a brief update for today.

Hey y'all so I might need help

So the day before I mentioned when you were to have a bad day. Now I might need some help now. I'm at the stage of "giving up". I went out cold approaching on a different plaza. Anyways the 1st store I went to I was getting ignored alot. But I pursued. Then the 2nd store it was a little better, where I pursue and got responses. Then I went to a Barnes and nobles and I felt hesitation but I went and confronted my fears. So far so good, then when I went to a clothing store I was getting ignored alot so much so that I was considered giving up. I pushed that mind off my head and it gradually became better and I went to another store. Regardless it was a good day but I felt like giving up. So how do y'all have to deal with that mentality out of y'all head?

Ex girlfriend situationship

Hi guys,

I got into Corey Wayne work like a lot of you after a breakup. What I will mention here is before I read 3% percent man.

In my 1st relationship while dating my ex girlfriend after our 1st date in which we kissed she then text me she was going to a guys house because he’s going through a divorce. She later text me they kissed and she spending the night. I stopped texting her and was hurt.

I then got my bus as usual and guess who was there the girl. She sat beside me saying how guilty she felt and how that was over and so on.

I made excuses for her in my head saying well we weren’t in a relationship but when we did start to get more serious I really started to resent this girl for what she did.

I am just confused because she and all her friends are being suggested to me on instagram even though we have no mutuals.

We never did sleep together and I would like this but I don’t want to feel that resentment again. I felt really disrespected.

If she does reach out should I follow what Corey Wayne teaches in 7 principles to get an ex back or should I address the disrespect she did in the past so I don’t feel that resentment again.

If you guys can help I would really appreciate this I don’t really have anyone I can talk to about this.

Girlfriend went clubbing with her friend until 5 am

I’m 29m dating a 26f

We’ve been together for 8 months and we’ve had a good relationship. Decent communication and I’ve done a goo job of following the book. We never argue and discuss things calmly. I repeat things back to her in my own words to show understanding and she’s always responsive. We’re very into one another but haven’t done anything physical in a bit due to an injury I have from a recent car accident.

She went out with a coworker last night, text me at 7 pm to let me know they’d be out at 11. She said that it’s weird to go out without me as she always goes to clubs / bars with me only as we established early on that there’s not really a need to go out without each other. She stated she feels safer with me present. I acknowledge this as a green flag of course.

I never control- I just indicate things and wait for her response. For example, she went out last night at 11 then goes back at 5 am. Texted me at 12:28 then again at 2:30 am asking if I was asleep and saying she missed me.

I have no trust issues with this woman, she called me and told me all about her night and she told me that she was hit on a. Few times but was focusing on being a wingwoman for her friend and they were getting free drinks bc the DJ knows my gf’s friend. I’ve worked in nightlife and I’ve ran a bar- I’ve seen some wild shit happen and my gf said she got really drunk and doesn’t remember some parts of the night. This did concern me a bit bc of my work history but I am trying to get some input on how to maintain it..

Here’s my issue: I asked her if this would be a regular thing as she mentioned her same friend wants to go out again next weekend.. that friend just had an abortion, is known to be a bit mischievous and open minded and hasn’t had a serious relationship in a while. This threw up some red flags and I nicely asked my gf if this is gonna be a regular occurrence (right after she said her friend wants to go out next weekend) as I don’t really like that per what I’ve told her in the beginning. She said that I’m making her feel shitty as they both needed a night to go out and let loose and that she enjoyed rejecting men because she has me.

I just asked her that if this is gonna be a regular thing to let me know as I won’t stop her but that I just don’t vibe with that. She said that it won’t be a regular thing and we left it at that.

Do you guys think I handled this well or am I showing insecurities?

If 97% of men are dogs and women are cats, what is a 3% man?

Playing off Corey’s classic "women are like cats, men are like dogs" metaphor—if 97% of guys act like needy golden retrievers constantly chasing balls and begging for attention, which animal archetype fits the 3% mindset best?

Am I overreacting

Girl I'm dating checks vast majority of my boxes and things have been going great. She sends me a TikTok and with that same link I am able to see her profile. In her profile I can see her reposts and there's a post there that says "Going from him hitting it raw to no contact is crazy".

This was reposted two months before we started seeing each other. She told me the guy she was dating casually for ~4 months was going through a hard time in his business, was not doing well financially etc. The stress of that ultimately led him to break it off with her and I guess she felt that TikTok was relevant so she reposted it?

Anyway, when I saw that, I thought it was pretty trashy. I get that everyone has a past (and that's not what I'm worried about) but there's no need to broadcast it to the world so explicitly. I don't even follow her on TikTok and I am able to see this.

I was thinking of making it official with her soon, but this is making me pause. Maybe I am overreacting, and it's just a harmless thing. In an indirect way we talked about the post, and she was just like "oh I thought it was funny, so I reposted it". I just shrugged it off and did not discuss it further, but deep down it is irking me a bit.

Should I write this off as a one-off? (As Coach always says, character is destiny, and things overall have been going great.) Or should I bring this up again? If so how?

What happens when more and more men start learning 3% Man and other helpful useful resources about dating and women?

Will you no longer be a 3% Man?

Won’t it make things difficult for men and dating again since more men have started learning these skills And even the playing field?

If you had a bad day...

To those who are new and are hesitating, if you have a bad day, say you feel needy, you feel like you're overthinking. That's what happened to me today and in the end it wasn't a big deal. I was working out today at the dumbbell section and I see a really pretty lady who's a 8 out of 10. I went up to her and told her she's gorgeous, and she made a disgusted face. I moved on but not without overthinking and I felt a bit needy. I then went around the plazas and then Walmart. At first I was hesitating to pursue but I did it anyways and the more I did it the less I was overthinking and the more confident I felt. So even if you feel needy or you put a woman into a pedestal. Just go out and greet everyone whether they're grandmas or a lady with zits on her face respect them all the same.

What if I actually do feel a bit "butt hurt"?

Honestly, if a girl with whom I'm on the early dating stages flakes on me, pulls away or even ghosts me, I usually just brush it off and keep moving onto the next one. I mean, it doesn't even happen that much but, when it does happen, my life feels unchanged and I don't really care that much about it.

However, I do expect much better from any girl with whom it feels as if we're already half-way into establishing a relationship or, even more so, with whom a relationship has already been established. In such cases, I do admit I will feel some frustration, confusion and sometimes even anger whenever they suddenly pull away and disappear for days-weeks, with no explanation given (or just soft explanation BS at best, after the fact).

Now, I know better than to ever vent towards them, but I can't deny that I do feel those negative feelings.

Does me still experiencing such negative feelings under such circumstances means I'm not there yet into becoming a 3% man? And do you think it's healthy to ever voice your frustrations, but in a calm manner, with her? I guess when she's your girlfriend, good communication is a must, but if a girl is not yet your girlfriend, then they sometimes will use as an excuse the fact that, indeed, she's not yet your girlfriend for you to be expecting better from them.

Reconnected with a girl from the past and the date ended incredibly awkwardly - not sure how to take it from here

Some backstory here - I met this girl 2.5 years ago and this was before I knew any of Corey's material. We were late 20's then and now we are early 30's. We went on two dates and they were some of the best dates I've ever had. We got along super well. At the end of the second date I went to kiss her and it was kind of awkward but still happened. She texted me after and said she kind of panicked and apologized for it being awkward. After that, she went away for work for a few months and I let it go. After she came back, I texted her again and she told me she got a new job and would be moving away but we still went out and got a drink and it was definitely the best date I've ever had. She was incredibly touchy during the date and afterwards we were making out on the side of the road before going our separate ways. Afterwards I started acting incredibly needy and not wanting to let her go despite her moving far away. She told me she didn't want anything long distance and I didn't want to accept that so she just started ignoring me. Once I got out of that funk I was so disgusted with how I acted and thats what led to me finding Corey's work.

Fast forward 2 years later and now she moved back to my city. I texted her after not talking for 2 years and she said she would be down to grab a drink. We met up 2 nights ago and I thought it went incredibly well. No touching on either of our part but she was leaning in a lot, showing me a lot of pictures on her phone, lots of eye contact, smiling, and laughing so I thought she was at least into me some as well.

I had to park a bit away from the place and she had to walk the same direction as well so as we were walking back at the end of the date, I wanted to hold her hand but she kept holding her hands up and fidgeting with her necklace so I wasn't able to. As we got to the end and were saying goodbye, I went to kiss her and she went for the hug so that was a little awkward. She made a comment acknowledging the awkwardness which I interpreted (clearly wrongly) as go for it again. She pulled back again and it was so uncomfortable and she just said I'm gonna go home now so I just said ok see ya and turned around and left. I'm not sure if maybe she has walls up because of how I acted 2 years ago or if there's something else going on, or if she just wasn't that interested. I'm also a little afraid now that she now has the impression that I don't respect boundaries which just isn't true. I just misread things in this instance.

I know some people will say to let her go but I genuinely had a good time up until the end and would like to see her again. I haven't texted her since and she hasn't texted me. I was hoping she would text me after but that hasn't happened. I'm just not sure how to take it from here - do I wait for her? Do I text her to try and smooth things over and say I still had a good time (I sort of think this might fall into illusion of action territory)? Do I wait several days and not mention it and try and set up a new date? The only wrinkle is she's traveling some and has people visiting and won't be available again for about 3 weeks. Maybe I just wait 3 weeks and try to set something up when she's available but again, I'm just not sure. I do plan on trying to meet new people in the mean time. Thanks to anyone who helps out.

Tl;dr reconnected with a girl from 2 years ago after I previously acted needy and have now found CW's work. Date seemed to go well but tried to kiss twice at the end of the date and got rejected both times. Want to see her again but not sure how to handle it.
