Four cards: Maz Adams has one of the smallest footprints on the roster — a small run with a huge impact, given that one of his cards depicts the most valuable trading card ever printed 👀

Maz Adams is a Queens-born, Jersey-raised sports artist who turned a lifelong baseball obsession into a career: licensed illustration for Fanatics (MLB and NHL), WWE and Latino Sports, with Topps and Beckett among his clients, drawing everyone from Aaron Judge and Shohei Ohtani to Reggie Jackson and Mariano Rivera. He is one of the few Currency artists who works inside the trading-card industry for a living, and his subject picks here read just like the wink from an insider.

Collector notes:

• Series 3 #16 is the Pokémon Illustrator — the 1998 "Pikachu Illustrator" promo, the most valuable trading card on Earth (a PSA 10 sold for ~$16.5M). A card of the card... hard to beat that as a subject!
• His other two Series 3 cards are Ludwig von Mises (#25) and Friedrich Hayek (#50), the Austrian-school economists whose sound-money ideas are ever-quoted in the crypto world.
• Add in the S5 #78 Satoshi Nakamoto, and that's his entire run: four cards, an entirely completable subset within the franchise.
