Cyndi Lauper’s debut album is defo her best- scrap that, best album ever! I mean, when she did a cover of Prince‘s When You Were Mine on She’s So Unusual, she truly made it her own compared to the bouncy Prince version and Cyndis version just makes me feel so much more in this song, it’s like you can hear the pain in her voice, as with the other songs too. Truly one of the most talented artists ever. Feminist and LGBT+ activist, actor, singer, friend, how much better can you get?!?!?
