I recently watched a conversation between Acharya Prashant and Poorva Joshipura, President of PETA International.

They were discussing animal exploitation—particularly how chickens are selectively bred and fed so that they become physically “top-heavy” very quickly, because the faster they grow, the sooner they can be used for profit.

Then Acharya suddenly brought up a completely different example: an Indian parent putting their 8–10-year-old child into English classes, coding, personality development, dance, tennis, extra literature, etc., until the child becomes “top-heavy” mentally.

His argument was that the important thing isn't that the two situations are literally identical. He was asking whether the agency behind them can be similar: developing or shaping another being primarily because we expect something in return.

He then takes this even further—talking about the “ROI” we sometimes expect from our children, relationships and other people.

Does veganism need to go into these deeper roots of everyday life?

does looking at these connections strengthen the ethical case for veganism, or does it take the discussion too far away from the specific issue of animal rights?

Hey guys. So last month a movie flopped in box office because they exposed the poultry industry. Well they technically didn't say go vegan but they exposed what's happening in the industry and within 2 day, suddenly social media and reddit was full of people giving negative reviews to the point that the movie didn't even break even.

It's so obvious the poultry industry paid people to ensure the movie will not be a hit and ensure more such movies are not release.

It's a Tamil language movie called sardar 2. Sardar 1 spoke about drinking water, sardar 2 is about poultry.

For some reason sardar 1 was accepted well.

Both movies exposed facts.

Anyways, the movie just got released on OTT- Amazon prime and now reddit has multiple people saying it was a good movie, why were the reviews so bad.

And I left a comment on someone claiming that the movie is nothing but a myth about chicken 🤣🤣

I asked if you profit from the industry?

And they claim that they are consumers who researched well 🤣🤣🤣

To which I replied, then enjoy it and suffer the consequences 🤣🤣🤣

And meat eaters started down voting me lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If they researched it and found it's a myth, why would they not have a comeback lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Personally I would give the movie a 6/10 because the villains reason for his actions seemed so unreasonable but I like that they exposed the poultry industry.

Soon there is another upcoming Tamil language movie about dairy industry. It's not released yet but I'm very sure people are gonna attack it again just like how this movie got attacked.

Just sharing here so that people who are interested can leave reviews that are more reliable on IMDb instead of the fake poultry industry paid hate reviews trying to destroy movie makers like these.
