Question about the first T-rex encounter in the chief office?

So when I first went in there nothing happened, but I died and had to redo that section and then the T-rex appeared. Why didn't it trigger the first time??? Scary at least.

Hey guys!

I just finished a video about 40 things you (probably) didn't know about Dino Crisis 2.

It covers some of the craziest marketing moves by Capcom, like the infamous meat plate, along with obscure lore and hidden details in the maps.

What is your favorite Tyrannosaurus Rex in the Dino Crisis series and why?

DC 2's T-rex got to be my favorite one because it is the one that feels more like Nemesis from RE3 to me. That is, it has a motive to be tracking and chasing Regina and Dylan for most of the game because of its eye.

I liked DC 1 T-rex also but mainly because he jumpscafed me real good in the chief's room. But most of the time I just thought he was an asshole because what does Regina have that is so delicious for this guy to keep going after her?

I cannot say anything for Australis because I have not played DC 3 yet and I only saw my cousin play Dino Stalker but my memory is very foggy about Jet Black so... yeah.

What about you guys?

As the title suggests, I was thinking of modding DC2 to make it prettier, but the installation requires random files for the PC version (ironic when you're playing the PC version and it doesnt have them...)
