Feeding our brothers among the Jinn

Feeding our brothers among the Jinn

With respect to not violating toweed. We know that muslims forbade the worship of jinn. There were some who worshipped jinn even after the jinn they worshiped became muslims themselves, according to tradition. This demotion of "folk-gods" into believers is a common narrative in the islamic writings. But curiously there is also the idea of provisions for the jinn. Blessed offerings, to provide them with? whenever a human mentions the name of Allah before eating, the meat and sustenance remain available on the bones for the believing Jinn to consume.

What is the context of this, how can this act be separated from acts of worship and is it actually meant as an act of kindness?

Feeding the poor, caring of the orphan, freeing the slaves are all concepts of charity we know. What about charity for the Jinn?

Do these stories present in the hadith, tell complex allegory about microbial life and the potential spread of disease or are they purely metaphysical concepts about supernatural beings that feed on the discarded bones left by other beings.

Any narrations about the control of our own Qareen?

Salam,

I know of the story of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ where his Qareen accepted Islam because of his ﷺ steadfastness and truth of Islam.

Let us keep the stories of Prophets aside. Throughout the history of Islam (Jahiliyyah + Prophethood + golden age till now) are there any narrations of a human, or any scholars getting a hold of their Qareen or atleast stopped their own Qareen from whispering. Surely there must be those turks or ottomans who would've done this.

I don't care if the narrations have weak chain or a strong chain, I just wanna know about the possibility of controlling our Qareen.

Jazakallah.

I’m an extremely rational person but my family just told me something that genuinely disturbed me

I’m posting this because I genuinely want a cultural and spiritual perspective, especially from people who understand beliefs around jinn, black magic, or spiritual interference. I’m not trying to claim anything as fact, I’m just trying to understand how people interpret situations like this.

I come from an Afghan Muslim background but I personally am not religious and I usually approach life in a very rational way. I’ve never believed in things like black magic or spiritual influence.

Recently I went through a very intense breakup. My boyfriend developed severe depression and suddenly ended the relationship and withdrew completely from my life. It was very abrupt and emotionally devastating for me, and I’ve been struggling a lot since then.

Around the same time, there has also been ongoing family pressure around an arranged marriage proposal within my extended family, which I have repeatedly رفضed.

What is making me question things is that in my family environment, these events are being connected in a very different way. Some relatives believe that spiritual interference, jealousy or black magic could be involved, and there have been conversations about possible family conflict and harmful intentions from certain individuals.

There were also mentions of strange symbolic objects and beliefs connected to certain family members, which added to the overall tension and confusion in my family.

I personally do not know how to interpret any of this. Part of me sees it as coincidence, psychological stress and cultural interpretation of unrelated events. Another part of me is struggling because everyone around me is framing it in a spiritual context.

I would really like to understand how people who believe in jinn or spiritual influence would interpret something like this, and how they distinguish between coincidence, mental health issues and actual spiritual interference.

I’m not asking for certainty, just perspective from people who are familiar with these beliefs.

Which of Allahs names have you had most success with in regards to love and wealth?

I’m curious to hear about other people’s experiences with reciting Allahs names for certain benefits. I have generally heard people say they had a lot of positive benefits in a vague sense but I’m wondering about more direct benefits and results that people have experienced? If so which names and what was your routine along with what was the benefit or miracle that occurred for you?

How do evil eyes even work? Is it actually a big threat?

Like isn't fate just fate? Things which are supposed to happen will happen by will of Allah type thing?

And i heard that sometimes evil eye happens even when someone doesn't wish for it to happen, like i wouldn't wanna put evil eye on my brother?

My mom tells me that I might get evil eye but I don't understand why anyone would feel like that for me coz well in my eyes I am a very "un-evil eye person", coz everyone just seems comfortable and safe around me, even if they don't like me they wouldn't necessarily despise me for evil eye level.

Like i feel hate and have felt despise for people so more likely I'd be the one giving people evil eye but that doesn't happen at all lmao(not like I will it or want someone to get it because of me. but it just doesn't happen lol people who hurt me or do wrong are all happy but wtv it's irrelevant)

So i dont understand how big of a threat evil eye is. And am i someone who should be worried about it?

How does one attract a Djinn?

okay, so i don’t know how to start this off but i’ll try…
ever since i could remember ive always felt other-worldly, an inexplainable tug to anything other world related.

born an arab muslim girl i’ve grown up hearing stories about these magnificent other worldly magical spiritual creatures called Djinn.
despite growing up around the scary stories surrounding them, i couldn’t help but feel drawn to them, i kept reading up on anything Djinn related like i couldn’t get enough!

i can’t explain my attraction to them, and i know it might be “wrong“ but i’ve always wanted to contact one!

but after reading up on them, i heard that they don’t like being summoned or being disturbed, in fact they like to be left alone.

but i’ve also heard stories about nice ones interacting with humans whether it’s to converse, or to help them!

i know summoning one could backfire very easily though.

which leads me to my question: how can i, instead of summoning one, attract one to me instead?

i mean ive heard stories about people coincidentally meeting Djinn or maybe the Djinn begins contacting them whether in dreams or real life without them even having to do anything!

i though maybe they possessed certain qualities or habits that attracted them?

lots of my friends talk about their close relatives Djinn experiences or stories, i can’t help but feel jealous each time, why can’t i have some similar experience? i feel like i might appreciate it more than them lol

but i don't wanna do witch craft or any of that sort, i’d just like to meet one.

I've even heard stories of Djinn falling in love with humans! and apparently they sometimes take their lovers to the Djinn realm!

if i’m honest, i’d love a Djinn husband instead of a real one, they sound far more enticing and attractive than humans..

although that’s not my full intention! i just want an other worldly experience…

another note on that, I'm obsessed with the concept of anything outside our realm or universe or whatever you wanna call it.

Peter Pan, Alice in wonderland, Harry potter, Labyrinth, the chronicles of narnia; anything other worldly related, you name it, ive probably seen it!

which is why i’d love to visit their world as well, some say you might go crazy, but you’ll never know if you don’t try, right?

i know people often summon them for wishes and things like that but that’s also not my intention, maybe i just want something that proves to me that they’re real, you know?

i’m the type who can only believe something if i see it with my eyes.

all this to say; how can i get a djinn to interact with me without disturbing or offending them?

like im scared i might anger them and they’ll hurt me but at the same time i can’t help but dream of meeting one…

Provide me islamic accepted way, my faith isn’t strong enough to control jinns.

What is the Adab of r/djinnology?

Adab (Arabic: أدب) refers to Islamic etiquette, encompassing good manners, courtesy, respect, and proper behavior in all aspects of life. Often translated as "refinement" or "decency," it guides moral conduct and interpersonal interactions, reflecting a person's inner character through correct social and aesthetic forms

so l've found these papers in my room, as stated in my last post. it was put under heavy objects I assume to work? I have no clue what it means or what it could mean I asked my mother but she said it's "Islamic" which I doubt because she said nobody can see it and needs be to sat under something heavy in order for it to work?
