I'm so glad I went with UCM

I'm so glad I went with UCM

I have a bunch of old 3mm by 1mm magnets from my warhammer days. I've managed to turn a single cruiser hull into 8 different ships using the magnets, this is exactly the kind of modular shit I'm into, this game rocks.

Also, side question, are teh rules on the ttcombat.com website up to date with the errata, or do you need to have both printed off for the most up to date rules?

Civvies - Princess Liner

Slowly getting through the last holdouts in my pile of shame - this time, the lovely Princess Liner objective ship. The original model has way too many windows for my taste, but I couldn't quite get the green stuff to sit smoothly enough on the lower decks, hence the painted-on damage to hide the bumps. Let's say the ship got shot up a bit just before the game started.

It was a fun single-evening project. And even if I didn't get it as close to the reference as I wanted, I'm still generally happy with the way it turned out.

Need help with the bases?

I cannot for the life of me figure out how these bases are supposed to work. The protective coating doesnt seem to come off at all and none of them fit into the bases snugly?

Las Vegas with Old Sprues?

Is there any good way to build a Las Vegas with the old cruiser sprues? I've also looked online for bits or a single new cruiser but have had no luck.
