Let’s play Dune Awakening

I’m searching for at least one adult PC gamer who wants to play/replay Dune Awakening co-op from the very beginning.

— lives in the UAE or a neighboring country
— speaks decent English
— has a lot of free time (is willing to invest hours a day in the game)

(I’m open to other co-op games as well).

Hi everyone, I ordered a Redragon K552 from Amazon.ae on August 12. It’s sold and shipped by Amazon.ae, but it’s still showing

Order received — We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date.

It’s been almost 7 days with no estimated delivery date or shipping update.

Has anyone in the UAE had the same issue recently? How long did it take for your order to update?

I found this PS5 Pro for 4,500, used only once and it comes with all these extras. Do you guys think that’s a good price especially compared to the prices before the PS5 Pro price increase?

World of Warcraft Classic - Season of Discovery Dubai players

I started to play WoW Classic - Season of Discovery as a Dwarf Hunter (level 7). I played WoW many years ago, and am not a great player. Sometimes my girlfriend and brother play as well.

Are there any Dubai-based guilds or player groups I should consider to join. My goal is to complete the Zul'Gurub and Ragnaros raids eventually.

I only plan to play a few hours per week, so it has to be a bit casual. No 'all night raid nights' each week.

ASUS ROG Strix G634JZ - GPU died after 3 years and ASUS refusing to collaborate

So I'm genuinely frustrated right now and needed to vent this somewhere. I bought an ASUS ROG Strix G634JZ about 3 years ago for 12,000 AED (around $3300 USD) thinking I was getting a solid gaming machine. I took decent care of it, temps were always under control, never overclocked or did anything crazy with it. It's on my desktop with pretty "breathable" area.

Few months ago it started giving me VIDEO_TDR_TIMEOUT errors and the dreaded Code 43 on my GPU. After digging through forums and testing, it's clearly a GPU subsystem failure. Not my fault, not driver related - I've tried literally 3 different driver versions and the same pattern every time.

So I contact ASUS support with all the diagnostic dumps and everything. Asked if they could do a goodwill fix since I'm outside the standard warranty window but the failure is clearly a hardware defect. They say no. Fine, frustrating but ok.

I try again like a month later with even more documentation. They refuse again. Didn't even really explain why just basically told me to pay for repairs.

Now I have a 12,000 AED laptop that's basically a brick and ASUS won't help. I'm just looking for some acknowledgment that their hardware failed prematurely?

Anyone else had this issue with ASUS? Is there anything else I can even try at this point? This is honestly killing me because I can't really justify buying another expensive laptop right now and this one is just sitting here useless.

Thanks,

Geekay Knows No Shame

1300 AED (~353$) for a pc controller is borderline shameless. Its msrp is 99$ (~367 AED). I wish this was the only terribly priced product they sell, almost everything there is badly priced.

Is this build worth it?

I’m gonna ask about the exact specifications of the SSD, but aside from that, how does the build look according to its price? And do I need the AIO or will an air cooler suffice? Cause I’ve heard AIOs are riskier to sue and less durable than air coolers.

Does anyone know where I can get my AIO radiator fixed?

I was angling my aio tubes and I tugged too hard and it broke. Half the black part is still inside the tube. I wanted to ask if anyone knows if this is fix able and if so where? I want it to be good quality and legit, preferably lian li parts cause the cooler is a lian li 😅
