[SOTC] Newbie to this hobby! My 6-Watch Collection ^^”
Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to the watch hobby and wanted to share my current rotation.
Just to share a bit of my journey: the first watch I ever bought was actually a G-Shock Rangeman 9400. It’s not with me anymore…I gave it to my sister. She loves it, even though she can't really wear it!
The watch that really got me into this hobby was my Seiko Presage SPB111. Ever since I picked it up, I've just loved wearing a watch. I don’t hate Swiss watches by any means, but for some unknown reason, Japanese watches just speak to me.
Here is the simple breakdown of the collection and the roles they play:-
• My Daily: Citizen Promaster Land PMD56-2951
• Retro: Casio A159WA
• Beater: G-Shock GW-5000U-1JF
• GADA (Go Anywhere, Do Anything): Citizen NB1050-59H
• Dress / Smart Casual: Seiko Presage SPB111
• My Fun Watch: Seiko Prospex Speedtimer SBDL117
I’m trying to be reasonable about what I buy, and I really enjoy seeing how far my collection has come. My next purchase is going to be a diver, and I’m just waiting for the perfect moment to add one.
