UAE PS Store pricing
Hey everyone,
Wanted to talk about the new PS5 pricing in the UAE store. It looks like every dollar is being rounded up to roughly 4 AED, even though the actual is about 3.67.
I've checked most games, and they're usually cheaper on the US store, which makes no sense. For example, the new Kingdom Hearts I–III collection is about 275.40 AED on the US store but 279.00 AED here.
I know what some of you are thinking: "You're complaining about 3–4 AED?" Fair, it's small on one game. But it adds up across every purchase, and why should I pay more just because of a region setting that doesn't make sense? Also, where is the sale page? The only "sales" I can find are subscription-only discounts, which honestly suck.
I'm considering making a US account, but I'll wait a bit to see if Sony changes anything. They haven't announced any fix so far. For now, I'm off touching grass for a few days.
This isn't meant to be negative, just raising awareness about something that makes gaming less fun and harder on our wallets.
