Paul's existential crisis

TL;DR Around the time Paul made his Twilight video for C4C, he had a pretty bad manic episode. He started taking bipolar medication, and is feeling better, but now he worries he can't do his job properly because he's less prone to the random fits of rage that we all know and love to hate him for.
I have noticed that this new Paul - call him White Glasses Paul, since he's wearing those a lot lately - seems less volatile and unstable than he used to be. He did have his usual rant against the two party system in a recent episode, but it almost felt like his heart wasn't in it. His douchebaggery and relentless censoring of his critics seems to have peaked during and shortly after his fight with AlchemistSoil, and he's become gradually more sedate and - dare I say it - less salty ever since.
Obviously it's better for him from a mental health perspective, but as he himself pointed out, some of the magic is gone now. The main reason this snark sub exists was because of how obsessed he was with censoring his critics, how easy he was to provoke, and how confident he was in his idiotic hot takes. Of the three, only the last one still seems to be holding true at the moment - apart from mentions of AlchemistSoil (which are automatically removed from the DFF sub), it's not as easy to get under his skin as it was a year ago.
I'm curious if he's able to actually reflect and grow as a person, but maybe that's hoping for too much. He's still a crotchety old man yelling at zoomers to get off his lawn, but his rage states are less common now. It's kind of boring TBH.
