Hi Law Nerds! Question: I did not watch the first Murdaugh trial. Is it worthwhile to watch it now before the retrial, or no?

The retrial is set for April 5, 2027. The next pretrial hearing is slated for August 14.

i have no beef with her but i'm 100% not exaggerating when i say i had to look up "purple haired lawyer" to even remember her name. yet somehow every time i fall asleep watching youtube i wake up to a six hour stream of her talking about some true crime case i do not nor have ever care about. i don't watch true crime. my boyfriend said the same happens to him. maybe it's because im up smoking the devil's lettuce but whats the deal lol

Was it related to the defense attorneys TV interview? I would really like to know !

Before becoming Colin Albert’s attorney, Chris Mattei sued Alex Jones/Free Speech Systems on behalf of Sandy Hook families in Connecticut. Jones lost by default judgment and the jury awarded $964 million verdict and another $473 million in punitive damages were added later. Jones has yet to pay the families a dime.

Where do I see what days she’s planning to live stream? I have the law nerd app but it’s a bit unclear if she’s streaming later in the day or taking the week off etc.

A somewhat related note, when she says she’s recorded a podcast, where is this? Is this the Emily Show on Spotify?

His trials are coming up and there’s a lot of legal-y pre trial hearings I would love to get her perspective on, especially now that they are going with the psych defense.

I tried to find any video of her talking about it but I couldn’t find any clips or videos of her covering it??

It’s such a monumental trial I would be sad to not have her to narrate the trial proceedings.
