You may know me, I've made a post for this before, but I'm making another one now, just in case, you know?
I am a HUGE Hollow Knight fan. I've already talked about how excited I am for the collab, but now there are some updates. Apparently the other cosmetics have been revealed! A Grub in a jar for the Backbling, an Old Nail Pickaxe with a Pure Nail style, and an emote where The Knight sits on a bench with Greenpath's ost paying in the background.
Wow! There is a lot more than I thought there would be. I was expecting just the sidekick, and maybe a Nail Pickaxe, but this blows my expectations away!
I want this so badly, Hollow Knight is one of my favorite video games of ALL TIME. I've completed everything in Silksong, and almost everything in Hollow Knight (still working on P5). I'm even making Halloween costumes for my siblings and I based on the games!
So yeah, that's my request. It really doesn't matter what I get, as long as The Knight gets added to my locker. I would much prefer the whole bundle, of course, but I would gladly just the little guy. After all, a gift is a gift. Been a fan of FNAF well before the collaboration with Fornite. Always found the game fun yet freaky but always enjoyed Chica and the cupcake. Had lots of scares from her over the years as well. 😆 Here is some of my art included of Chica and the cupcake. Love art and always enjoyed drawing different characters from my favorite shows/games 💖
• "Why was my post removed?" - 99% of the time, it broke a rule. Make sure you're reading those first thing before making any requests.
• "Why is my request not gaining any traction?" - It probably looks identical to every other request for the recent major collabs. Your goal is to be as creative as possible to help your request stand out. Add some pet pictures, videos, memes, etc etc. it'll get people talking and eventually a gifter will find their way to you if they do choose.
• "Why was I banned but I was nothing but positive?" - This one actually isn't within our control. Sure, we have the occasional creep or person with a history in buying/selling Fortnite accounts that get the axe, but recently we've had an issue with users getting falsely banned simply for boosting. To combat this, make sure your comments vary from post to post when boosting, or that you're using different boost images on different posts to avoid Reddit as a whole banning you for suspected spam.
• "Should I delete my post if ______?" - No. under no circumstances should a user delete a request themselves, both past or present. For archival purposes we ask that if you feel it's an absolute necessity to remove your post to send a modmail with your reasoning and a member of the team will reach out to confirm and remove said post. If you remove the post and try to request again it'll be removed by the bot for spam, this isn't the case if a mod removes the post for you.
• "Why can't I click anything in the hub?" - the front hub page is a visual guide on what's available with a drop down menu that allows you to visit each helpful section. Within each section is a group of posts that allow members to understand everything that goes on within the community, as well as our discord link. The drop down menu is usually located within the top bar of the hub.
• "can I post more than 1 request a day?" - No.
• "can I enter AI art in talents for gifts?" - Absolutely not. Permaban.
• "What is a cooldown?" - When a user receives a gift we place them on what's called a "cooldown" timer which prevents them from making another request until the timer is up. This allows a wider range of gifts to be given to more members without it seeming like the same people are gifted over and over.
• "Why do some members have longer cooldowns than others?" - That all comes down to the gift received. Anything 1,400 Vbucks and below is a 7 day cooldown. Anything 1,500 Vbucks and above, up to 2,500 max*, is a 14 day cooldown. Things gifted with real currency, such as FN Crew or the Bunny Mummy bundle, then the member will receive a 30 day cooldown since it's much more involved process to be gifted these items.
*(This threshold for gifts does not apply to Wed/Thurs Talents for gifts.)

By the way, I’ve seen posts about how to get a gift, and they say you should give a good reason. Well, one of my reasons is that I hadn't played Fortnite in a long time, but lately I’ve been putting some time into it. I see the Item Shop has really improved, and honestly, I get so excited looking at the skins especially the FNAF ones. And finally, I’ll be honest... I’ve been looking for a job but haven't found one yet, haha. I’m not lying when I say I go out every week to see what I can find. Back when I was working, I managed to buy myself a few little things, but you know, I’d love to receive a gift for the first time haha, I want to try my luck. I’d be truly grateful.
Hollow knight is one of my favorite games of all time and it would be really cool to have The Knight follow me around in fortnite. I also included a picture of some art I made of the knight and hornet with perler beads.
I wish I could say the Black Clover kitties are making an appearance this time around, but I genuinely couldn't think of anything to do with them. Hopefully, the picture of Puss in Boots is an acceptable stand-in for the time being.
I still would love to get any one of these skins if any gifters out there hear my plea. All the boosters I've received have been very much appreciated and I've tried to help out my fellow requesters as much as possible as well. Hello everyone! I'm the winner of a past big giveaway that ended up not going quite as planned. I'm writing this post not to slander anyone but just to share a deeply heartfelt thank you to the community. To be completely honest, the waiting period around this giveaway gave me a lot of anxiety for me and after talking to the mods I was ready to just leave the community to try to not think about the situation to protect my own mental health. I spent some time reading the comments and despite not replying, it really made me realize just how amazing of a community this is, I felt so overwhelmed by how nice everyone was with offers and words of support that I started to tear up. Having said that I want to thank a specific mod and also gifter in particular.
I know this is best to be left anonymously to avoid witch hunts but at the very least I want these 2 amazing people to get the recognition they deserve. I cannot thank you both enough for giving this situation a positive closure despite the fact that I had given up hope on it. I know I've said thank you a ridiculous amount of times in this one post but I really want to say it one last time, thank you thank you and thank you for brightening up my whole month. I'm not in a situation where I can help others and I haven't been for a long time, but I really hope that one day I'll be in a place where I can help others just like you both have to me.
