Due to some concerning situations regarding the time frame in which some people are finishing and sending their drawings to the gifter after having been gifted (or situations where the gifter is ghosted with never received the drawing), I made these sets of rules that should be respected. Otherwise we will start blacklisting users from taking part in this event.

Also a suggestion for the gifters, if the item isn't leaving immediately after, then wait for the drawing before gifting them.

Because it just seems to me that after they're gifted they just don't care about finishing the drawing in a reasonable time and just keep on making more requests on the sub, which is not okay and won't be allowed anymore.

While art takes time, please be aware that if you get a gifter you have to hurry in getting it done in a reasonable time. Not MONTHS. If you don't think you can get it done in a week or two, this event might not be for you. I put 3 weeks max but even that is too long and should not be the norm.

#R1: the use of AI or AI tools isn't allowed;

#R2: the drawing should be finished and sent in 3 weeks maximum! Don't let the gifter wait for months or you will be blacklisted from the event;

#R3: If you haven't finished and sent your drawing to your gifter, you cannot make new requests on the subreddit.

If you were stopped from posting previously because you didn't have enough karma acquired in our subreddit from comments, then you might wanna give it another try as we have removed this requirement.

As long as you have an account that's at least 31 days and some account karma (from posts and comments sitewide), then you are okay to post here!

Those requirements that we still have in place are for protection against spammers and possibly problematic users.

While we maintain some requirements for protection, we removed the need to comment before posting because we noticed we were detaining a lot of good intended people, with tons of account karma, from participating here.

Hi, I just wanted to bring awareness to the fact that mentioning in a post why your previous post was removed is not helpful.

Posts are removed when a rule has been broken, that is it. I get the feeling some people think they're being smart and are going to get people supporting them/sympathising with them if they include that their previous post was removed.

All they're doing is letting everyone know they broke a rule and instead of putting effort into their post they're being snarky and sometimes hating on moderators, which is not helpful.

We do not remove anyone's posts to annoy anyone or because we're "trigger happy".

If you break a rule and we don't remove the post, what's going to happen is that more people are going to see it and break that same rule because they think it's okay.

Please understand that all the mods involved absolutely love and care about this subreddit and what we have accomplished here. We'll do what it takes to preserve the positive and safe atmosphere. Never to make anyone feel bad about their post.

So I ask that if you have had your post removed, do not mention that on your repost. And if you have any doubts about why your post was removed and how it broke a rule, message moderators. It is bad faith to make a whole post about it and try to get people against us.

While it's great and understandable to take inspiration from well made posts, a lovely member ended up wanting to remove their well made post from public view because so many people liked it that others started straight up copying it or even taking their images/edits they made and putting into AI to copy this person's post.

It's really disheartening to see someone wanting to remove their well made and captivating post because they ended up feeling targeted for it.

So I ask that you please do not copy someone and definitely don't put ANYTHING into AI software without the consent from the person that the image belongs to.

It's okay to take inspo and adding your own twist, keep it original ✨️

Hello, this is an informative and preventative post meant to help our members navigate unsolicited dm's, either with inappropriate messages of sexual nature or with fake and misleading offers (real offers are left in the comments of a request).

Most of the users who send unsolicited dm's don't interact here so although we ban them when we receive reports from you guys, they can still view and message our members without ever interacting in the subreddit.

For this reason, it is important that you follow the steps below in case you receive one of those dm's and to prevent getting them.

Report to Reddit

If you receive a chat request with a message you’d like to report, don’t select Ignore. (This will make the message go away.)

On reddit.com

Click on the chat request or message to open the full chat. Hover over the message then click on the flag icon.

On iOS and Android

First, tap into the chat message. Tap and hold the message you’d like to report, then select Report.

Report to us

After you have correctly reported them to Reddit, report it to the moderators of this subreddit so we can ensure they're banned and blacklisted.

Having a screenshot of the conversation helps so we can make sure the report is legitimate, since we don't have access to view dm's like Reddit admins do.

Disable your dm's/chat requests

In addition to reporting, you can also disable your dm's in your account settings. This will make it so people cannot directly dm you, unless you have already reached out to them first or have a dm opened with them already.

Eu só descobri há pouco tempo que fui diagnosticada com Autismo há 2 anos atrás quando fui há uma semana à médica de família por precisar de acompanhamento psicológico mais uma vez. Tenho sofrido com depressão e ansiedade generalizada e social desde pré-adolescente, potencialmente até antes.

Estou agora a tomar medicação que a minha médica de família me receitou que até parece ser boa e não estou preocupada desde já, mas era para ser acompanhada na psiquiatra por alguém que entendesse e lidasse com pessoas com Autismo, dado que em Portugal parece ainda difícil de obter profissionais com essa especialização.

A minha médica de família informou-me hoje que esse pedido foi recusado e que lhe disseram para eu continuar com ela até ser necessário aumentar a dose.

Acho isto um pouco estranho porque a minha médica de família não é psiquiatra. Mas sinto que não me querem lá porque já lá estive durante 2 anos e deixei de ir de repente. Talvez devesse ter sido vocal na altura e ter expressado a falta de profissionalismo com que fui tratada.

Na altura estava a ser seguida por uma psicoterapeuta e psiquiatra. Ajudaram-me até certo ponto. Quando comecei a tentar entender-me e cheguei à suspeita do Autismo, começaram a tratar-me de forma diferente. Como se estivesse a empatá-las ou a querer chegar a uma resolução que a eles não lhes era favorável.

Questionaram o porquê de eu querer um diagnóstico, disseram-me que se o quisesse tinha de pagar 5 mil euros, fizeram comparações com outros autistas de maior nível de suporte, e no entanto 2 anos depois vim a descobrir que o diagnóstico que me fizeram às "escondidas" (sem me dizer o que era na altura) realmente demonstrou que sou autista, e registaram no computador sem nunca mo dizerem. Nem sequer entendo se é oficial? Se há papéis a preencher? Nada.

Tenho 26 anos e nunca tive um trabalho. Não tenho independência financeira. Não tenho ânimo para seguir o que seja. Sinto que tenho sido negligenciada pelo mundo por não ter absolutamente nenhum apoio sem ser agora esta medicação que pode ou não resultar.

Sei que há certas coisas que nunca vão desaparecer com a medicação e o que gostava era de ter alguém na minha vida que me compreendesse e me ajudasse a navegar obter um trabalho adequado que não cause maior detrimento à minha saúde mental. Mas não tenho dinheiro e estou dependente do SNS.

Ela vai fazer agora um pedido para eu ter pelo menos consultas de psicologia e vai ser no centro de saúde, não no hospital psiquiátrico como dantes tinha. Fui blacklisted, é o que parece.

The Team and I have noticed a recent increase in edited lobby images. Whether it is AI generated or manually edited.

Usually it's to edit the v-bucks amount to make it seem like they have less v-bucks than they actually have.

So be aware of this and scan for it before offering to gift someone.

We have a precious community here so it is expected that some will abuse it.

We will keep taking these posts down and instantly perma banning anyone who does this, as it is absolutely not tolerated to try and abuse anyone's generosity and kindness.

If you suspect an user is doing this on their post DON'T CALL THEM OUT! The second you call them out, they will delete the post and we won't have the chance to see it.

You have to silently report it to us by clicking on the 3 dots, selecting report and picking Attempting to fool our members/mods.

It is always best to let us handle things and not interfering.
