Built a free tool for mock drafting & simulations / league news / live drafting

Hey everyone! I've been frustrated with how useless most fantasy draft prep/live draft tools are for my own leagues, so I built SundayGames.

It originally started as something just for me so i could mock draft without having to manually stop the mock draft because "jamar chase would never be drafted for $45, he'd probably be closer to $68" and then continue that process for dozens of picks. Thats the main reason I created the tool. Its taken on a life of its own as of late, with the ability to run simulations in bulk while also allowing you to create a league and run the live draft through it (if you do offline drafts).

When you add your league (if its a private league you'll have to manually import your league rules, scoring, etc) the app can use your settings, keepers, roster construction, and historical draft data (after you import CSVs/excel files) to personalize simulations. So if Tom and Jim in your league have historically gone WR-heavy, they’re more likely to be the teams bidding up guys like JSN, Ja’Marr Chase and Jefferson in a simulation.

The goal is to model your league’s actual tendencies and inflation, then give you estimated values based on what players are likely to cost in your room, not what a generic auction calculator says they’re worth.

You can run simulations around specific players or roster builds too, so you can 'favorite' a player and set a max bid for him (pay no more than $72 for gibbs), or do full mock drafts where you control your team and the AI runs everyone else (traditional mock drafts). The more league history you import, the more personalized those simulations can become. Once the simulations run (defaults to 25 runs) itll show you the week 1 estimates scoring wise for every team in the league, and you can toggle through all the simulations you ran to see what type of teams you can realistically build around those guys you favorited. You can 'favorite' specific rosters it creates for you, and itll save those rosters to your 'my team' section so you can quickly reference a 'shortlist' of players and expected values on draft day.

itll tell you the % of times you got those players too. Its obviously not a perfect science, but my hope is it helps you figure out if its realistic to pair Ladd, Jadarian Price, and Davante Adams after spending big on Bijan or Gibbs and going for a $1-2 TE/QB combo while filling out the rest of your depth.

It also works as a live draft tool. The commissioner runs the draft while everyone else joins the room and they can enter something like “Jake drafted/took/got Gibbs for $75” and it updates rosters, remaining budgets, max bids, available players, etc. for everyone in real time, so no more having to ask the auctioneer "whats my max bid? how many WRs do i have?" etc, and you can see who's on Tom's roster and his max bid, so you can plan out your nominations to eat into their budgets/roster strategically. Its fully responsive and works well on mobile too.

Lastly, I have it pulling data in real time for news and updates. think of the OG RotoWorld app - thats what I was going for. add your players to a shortlist so you can quickly see their status at all times.

Right now it’s completely free. I’m mostly looking for people drafting over the next few weeks who are willing to use it, break things, and tell me what sucks or what would actually make it useful (would genuinely say right now i wouldnt use this as the only thing youre drafting on - id run your draft as normal but use this on the side because i would feel awful if something happened mid-draft and it fucked up your draft in some way. I plan to use it for my leagues upcoming draft but I'm still considering having a backup plan.

I’m making updates pretty much every day. A few things already built and currently being tested:

  • Waiver wire tools & suggestions
  • league syncing/management so you can make lineup changes in app for ESPN, Sleeper and Yahoo Leagues
  • lineup help (Start vs sit)
  • Snake draft (right now its built for auction only) -- all snake draft functionality is built, just sitting on a staging branch for now while i test.
  • More work around performance/scaling as more people start using live drafts. right now it should handle ~50 leagues live drafting at the same time.

I haven’t tested the live draft system at meaningful scale yet, so that’s one of the things I’m hoping to learn from opening it up.

And for some additional context, I’m an experienced software engineer and this isn’t a throwaway side-project prototype. I’ve built it like a real production web app and plan to keep developing it seriously.

If you have a draft coming up and want to mess around with it: sundaygames.io

Would genuinely love feedback, especially from people with weird league formats or long-running leagues where historical draft behavior actually matters and for feature requests.

I’m from the future

I’m coming back to the past to share my fantasy football knowledge. Below are how each positional top 10 will finish in the 2026 season. I will not be posting finishes for each point format, only Full PPR.

QB
1 Josh Allen
2 Joe Burrow
3 Drake Maye
4 Jayden Daniels
5 Justin Herbert
6 Dak Prescott
7 Patrick Mahomes
8 Jalen Hurts
9 Caleb Williams
10 Jaxson Dart
(Notes: Lamar Jackson misses 9 games and Trevor Lawrence has an off year)

TE
1 Brock Bowers
2 Tyler Warren
3 Kyle Pitts
4 Tucker Kraft
5 Travis Kelce
6 Colston Loveland
7 George Kittle
8 Harold Fannin Jr
9 Sam LaPorta
10 Trey McBride
(Notes: Trey McBride is on injured reserve for 5 weeks)

WR
1 Ja’Marr Chase
2 JSN
3 Amon-Ra
4 Malik Nabers
5 AJ Brown
6 CeeDee Lamb
7 Drake London
8 Rashee Rice
9 Chris Olave
10 Davante Adams
(Notes: Puka Nacua misses 6 games and Justin Jefferson has an okay season but finishes 11th)

RB
1 CMC
2 Jahmyr Gibbs
3 Jonathan Taylor
4 Bijan Robinson
5 Chase Brown
6 Ashton Jeanty
7 James Cook
8 Saquon Barkley
9 Kenneth Walker
10 Kyren Williams
(Notes: Derrick Henry is officially a thing of the past and loses production and deals with lingering injuries all season but doesn’t miss any games, Cam Skattebo impresses and finishes just outside the top 10)

The season is a good one and as a bonus I will say that Joe Burrow finally wins his ring with a stingy turnover hungry defense all season as the Bengals win the Super Bowl over the Philadelphia Eagles as Jalen Hurts proves he is able to make another Super Bowl run.

Draft Gods - Fantasy Football Draft Assistant

Hello redditors!

I hate to shamelessly plug a draft assistant tool that I personally developed, but here I am.

I’ve spent 40+ hours developing what I confidently believe is the best fantasy football tool available, and I’m hoping to gain some exposure.

I don’t feel like I need to convince anyone how critical it is to walk away from the draft feeling confident in your selections, knowing that you stuck to your gameplan and adapted when it was necessary. Cheatsheets are great for pre-draft preparation, but the benefits stop there.

What I’ve developed is different.

Draft Gods is a live draft assistant you run in a browser alongside your real draft. You tell it your league (size, scoring, draft slot, your unique strategy) and log picks as they happen. After every pick it re-scores the entire board and tells you who to take next, what it costs you to wait, and why. It watches your bye weeks, keeps your roster in shape, and lets you flag players you want (or don't want) without letting a preference override an obviously better pick.

I’ve ran this tool through hundreds of simulations and conducted dozens of mock drafts to ensure it’s ready for the market. I’ve shared this tool with multiple friends, and they’re all using it for every league they’re in.

I am offering free access to the first 10 members who sign up.

If you’re interested, please check out my Patreon site for more information.

LeagueFi - For anyone tired of the LeagueSafe Monopoly, and sketchy Commissioners

Built a zero-fee, modernized alternative to LeagueSafe - League payments held fully visible at all times, with instant payouts

Commish for 8 years. Two things drove me nuts every season: paying for a  “convenience” fee, and then again getting squeezed for a “Withdrawal processing fee” when trying to get my own money from the platform

So I built LeagueFi

  • Zero fees. Pay with a Coinbase account or by credit card (location permitting) - with zero fees taken out of the pot (or added on top)
  • Locked escrow. Everyone pays up front, funds are locked in a smart contract until the season ends. Literally nobody can touch it until payout dispersion - including us, including your commish.
  • Instant payouts. Season ends, league approves the split via supermajority vote, winners get paid within minutes. Not 5-7 business days.
  • Verifiable. You can check the pot balance and verify all transactions yourself at any time. No more trusting anyone behind a black box.

Works alongside anything you already use - ESPN, Sleeper, Yahoo, doesn't matter. It just handles the money.

Happy to answer anything at all about the application, and hear feedback from the community. Full disclosure I am the founder of this project (3+ year ML Engineer, 12+ year fantasy football player :) ).

RB tier

Javonte, Kyren, Breece, Jacobs.

How would you rank them in order of who you’d want to draft first to last? Feel free to throw in some other names I’m sleeping on that’s in that tier of RBs

Mock 1.03

Hey guys I’m drafting at the 1.03 and I’m wondering what your thoughts are on this mock. I’m certain the good rbs will be taken by the time it’s my turn in rd 2 so that’s why I went the way I did. Please critique as needed.

Insane pull

I already have a Power Back on my roster, and I can pair Achane with Caleb to build an explosive trio ... but Jonathan Taylor is a monster and my Rushing TD room is leveled up.

Dynasty Commissioners: I need advice

I am new to Dynasty. It's my first time being the commissioner of a dynasty league and playing in one. There is one person in our league who is in another league, and after his advice and some online reading, we landed on the initial settings. We completed our startup draft, and now that I am looking at rosters, I am seeing some things that could pose some challenges.

I am looking for advice on whether I need to address any of these things before the season starts.

12 team halfppr

1QB

2RB

2WR

1TE

2FLX

10 Bench

4 IR

5 Taxi (Rookies and Sophomores)

3 supplemental rookie draft rounds in the offseason

I am seeing now that the shallower bench may create a problem where people may have to drop usable players just to elevate people from the taxi squad. I realize this will occur regardless of bench size, but our bench size feels small, and there remains some usable talent on waivers. The guy in our league who plays in another dynasty league thinks our bench size is fine, but we just need to allow people to move people on and off the taxi throughout the season, which I think defeats the purpose of the taxi. Additionally, this could lead to people going to the waiver wire instead of sparking trade activity.

My questions:

- Do we need to adjust roster sizes?

- If so, to what number?

- What other thoughts?

If we do, I like the idea of doing a single open waiver using our FAAB budget, then resetting FAAB going into the year.

Thank you!

Rate My Team

I think I’m a little weak at RB but my WRs could make up for it. Could also trade a WR for a RB if need be

Thoughts on Malik Nabers This Year (10-Team PPR Redraft)

I drafted Nabers at 3.1, but I'm wondering if I should be regretting the pick by now. Not because of his health; he's expected to be ready in week 1. I just don't know if Harbaugh and Nagy will be running the same type of scheme that got Nabers targeted 170 times in 2024.

If anybody else shares my concern, who do you think I could trade him for? I don't think I'm as weak at RB as I was before, but they're definitely weaker than my WRs (AJB CD Nabers Adams Addison)
