ARSB OR JSN? If you had to choose
Who would you pick between the two? JSN lit it up and had a breakthrough season with almost 1800 yards… ARSB’s career high in a season is about 1500. Both good offenses. Who would you draft between the two?
Be reasonable, be smart, have some dignity
Monty or Jacobs? Who would you choose?
So David Montgomery is probably going to be the clear workhorse back in Houston, and although he is one year older than Monty, he has a lot less mileage on him. In 105 games, for both of them (both of them have appeared in 105 games according to Google AI), Jacobs has 400 more touches than Monty. Jacobs is probably on a superior offense, but if CJ Stroud can get it together (without getting hurt), that could open up things for Monty. We’ve seen how a heavy workload can really wear out a RB (e.g. Barkley). However, Jacobs is probably the more talented back. If you had to choose between the two, who would you go with?
Are people sleeping on Dak Prescott?
Where do you guys rank Dak Prescott? Last year he finished as the QB6 overall, only one point behind Caleb Williams (standard scoring), so he was basically tied as QB5. This year, I see he’s going as the QB8-10 overall… why is that? He’s got George Pickens and CeeDee and Ferguson ain’t bad either. Why is he getting picked so late this year despite the good year he had last year?
How important is it to secure an elite TE?
I’m thinking the top two TEs are McBride and Bowers, everyone else is a a tier or two below them. Kraft was arguably there too, at the beginning of last year, but then he got hurt. The rest can be Tyler Warren, Colston Loveland (he gets a lot of hype), Kyle Pitts, Isaiah Likely and I know a lot of people like Fannin too. Travis Kelce is old, so is Kittle and he seems to be perpetually hurt. I may have missed some, but let me proceed to my inquiry. The gap between the #1 TE last year in half PPR (McBride) and the #2 (Pitts) was almost 100 points. It also seems difficult to find a good TE on the waiver wire through the season (I know it happens, but rarely). So, would you sacrifice getting a good WR/RB to secure an elite TE like Bowers or McBride? I feel like it’s much easier to find a gem of a WR/RB on the waiver wire through the season over a gem of a TE. If a starting RB goes down, the backup can usually fill in nicely and produce, same for a #2 WR. Does the consistency of an elite TE that you know you can start week in and week out make up for moving from a good WR/RB to a serviceable WR/RB? Especially considering the unknown waiver players that could end up shining, something that happens every year? Let me know what you guys think.
Is anyone else as high on De’Zhaun Stribling as me?
Hear me out. Dude was picked early in the second round and he’s on a good team in the 9ers… people will say a lot of target competition but look at the rest of the team. Mike Evans can be scary, but he has an injury history and he’s now 32. Same with Kittle, also 32. McCaffrey is 30 and just got annihilated in usage last year, look what happened to Saquon, plus he’s a RB. Ricky Pearsall is out for the season. Who else do they have? Plus Brock can sling it and is probably above average right now. I like Stribling.
