Ji-Eun solos

Ji-Eun is the only person in FC3 to ever have Maria backed against a wall.

"If I don't fight back, I'm finished."

Goated.

Ji-Eun was throwing feints pivots and mix-ups at Jiu Ji-Tae like she was Prime Maria at like 8 years old.

Goated.

Ji-Eun one-tapped Jiu Ji-Tae (fought and beat Sunny Ja and Lee Chang b2b, arguably FC3 level pre-awakening)

Goated.

Ji-Eun personally bitched everyone she's met, FC or Not.

Goated.

Hyung Chul had to sneak my goat just to land a blow.

Young-woon didn't help Jiu Ji-Tae and Ok-Dong cause he realized Ji-Eun had ts in the bag if she wanted to.

Goated.

If Ji-Eun received some training, no doubt, she'd hypoversally diff Jiu Dae-Gak with both her arms and legs cut off and her eyes gouged out.

I think I should give fight class 3 a 2nd chance the way you guys glaze it😭

When I read the manhwa for the first time it was nice at first but then jjt just started going insane and it became edgy and I genuinely lost interest and started skimming the pages ,I still finished because I'm a slop enjoyer but I cannot remember a lot about the story I only remember the character and since Reddit keeps showing me this sub it must be a sign to reread it but before I do that I need y'all to tell me was I just immature at the time and just didn't get it or is it really slop and be honest don't be like lookism fans I don't want to waste my time please

Rarely been this mad over a manwha/manga

Man the fact that it's been over 2 years and a half and there is still no news whatsoever, no sneek peak nothing, feels like the author doesn't give a fk we don't even know if there will be a season 2.

The worst is that everyday you see fanarts and you're like "wow season 2 is gonna be insane so much potential" so much stuff you want to see happen but the reality is that it's been over 2 years of nothing and there is still nothing it's so depressing

When is 2hakkk gonna do anything ?

Chekhov’s Gun is a narrative principle that states every element in a story must be necessary, and irrelevant elements should be removed. Popularized by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov, the rule dictates: if you introduce a specific object (like a gun) early in the story, it must be used later; otherwise, it shouldn’t be there.

The Core Concept

The principle is essentially a promise to the audience

. When a writer highlights an object, character trait, or piece of backstory, it creates an expectation in the viewer's or reader's mind.

The Setup: "If you say in the first chapter that there is a rifle hanging on the wall, in the second or third chapter it absolutely must go off."

The Payoff: Every detail must serve the plot, character development, or themes, preventing the narrative from feeling bloated or cluttered.

Why Writers Use It

Eliminates Clutter: It removes "red herrings" or distracting details that go nowhere, making the story tightly woven.

Avoids "Deus Ex Machina": By planting elements early, solutions and twists feel earned rather than magically appearing at the last minute.

Builds Tension: Highlighting a dangerous or important item creates a sense of anticipation that keeps the audience hooked.

Common Variations

Over time, the storytelling concept has expanded to include more than just physical weapons. Common tropes based on the principle include:

Chekhov’s Gunman: A seemingly minor character who is introduced early and turns out to be crucial to the plot later.

Chekhov’s Gift: An item given to a character early on that proves to be exactly what they need to resolve the climax.

Could Jiu Dae-Gak vision see even deeper?

Someone of Jiu Dae-Gak's caliber should be able to recognize the potential of his own son, yet he called him useless, gave him ptsd and abandoned him, seemingly after he "grew a lot".

You could say it's because of his failure to protect his mother and getting her killed but Jiu Dae-Gak seems like the type of person to hold fighting above all else, even the things he loves (his wife).

Like he even shows up late to her funeral, is gone for long periods of time and has them living in not so fancy conditions despite his fame and renown as a top tier fighter.

One could assume they had a falling out of some sort and it's the reason they were separated.

Is it possible he took Jiu Ji-Hyun is because her latent abilities is higher than Jiu Ji-Tae? Did she inherit more from Jiu Dae-Gak than Jiu Ji-Tae?

Hopefully we get more context with Jiu Dae-Gak's relationship with Jin-Hee in the future.
