sorry its not great

I'm a beginner trying to paint in grayscale but can't figure out how to add depth / variety to the skin? everytime i attempt to do something it just ends up really muddy and looks off, although i think i did a good job on the hair.

It's confusing me because the entire face is lit up, so I'm unsure on where to put my values.

my first attempt went quite well in my opinion but i cant figure out what's wrong with my second but it just doesn't look right? please let me know your opinion -

I've never been so blindsided by a manga in my life. I had never heard of the Land of the Lustrous, I randomly picked it out whilst looking for something to binge on myanimelist and found it was surprisingly popular.

I started reading the manga after watching the anime as I just had so many questions and was confused / intrigued with where the story was headed, only to be taken on a journey I both never expected and wasn't remotely prepared for.

This Is definitely a read I'll never forget.
I'm genuinely fucking heartbroken.

i need more slop... PLEAAAAAAASE - anything with 70ch+ ill read it im down bad rn, yk the deal, op mc everyone goes wow how did he go so strong all that bs and the constant glaze.

I hate the 'hiding my power' troupe - fuck all that, i don't mind if its for a bit but if its a lot then nope nope nope.

BUT BUT, if you can recommend something where they transition from weak to op then i'm even more down for that too - just anything with an op mc honestly im in my slop era.

If anyone has read all 165 chapters of What It Means to Be You then you deserve a medal cause ho-lee-sheet it was the worst read of my life
