Hello to my fellow filos/kabayan out there. Hope you guys are good. Gusto ko lang sana magtanong, do I have a chance to get a driver’s license in dubai even I don’t know how to drive 4 wheels at all? I mean, if ever ba mag take risk ako, matutunan ko kaya yon all through out my driving lesson? Or much better na magpaturo muna talaga sa personal na kakilala para kahit papano may knowledge na? Thanks po sa lahat ng sasagot.

Just recently, nag-file ako ng complaint sa MOHRE, and MOHRE awarded the full amount in my favor.

Hindi nagbayad ang company and di din nag-rereply sa emails ko, so nag-proceed na ako sa Al Adheed for execution and incurred additional expenses.

A day after, biglang cinontact ako ni company to offer me around 65% of the MOHRE-awarded amount as their “final offer.” Itong 65% is yung portion na delayed salary while the remaining is the few days I served as part of my notice period. Di na nila pinatapos ang notice period ko as probationary kahit sinabi ko na willing ako to serve this.

I countered with around 82% of the MOHRE award as a compromise, including reimbursement for the execution expense, para matapos na at makamove-forward na ako.

Ngayon sinasabi ng company na nag-file na raw sila ng objection sa Dubai Court tungkol sa MOHRE decision at final na yung 65% na yun. The tone of email I'm kinda getting is like "take it or leave it". (Ang kapal lang ng apog no?)

Anyway, wala pa akong natatanggap na court notification or case details.

Kung kayo nasa position ko, ano gagawin niyo?

🟢 Accept the ~65% and end it
🟡 Push for the ~82% compromise and continue with execution/court
🟣 Ask for proof of the court filing first
