I think we should be allowed to fight 1 customer a day.

I Was so flabbergasted that I forgot to split it.

Edit: Just for clarifications sake, the guest wanted our carrot cake without the cake, so they asked for a wedge salad base dressed up like a carrot cake

Good Lord, another flaming take from my friend.

Same one as the orange chicken and ranch. This combo just doesn't sound good at all.

Oatmeal, baby food puree, and a folic acid vitamin supplement! Yum :))

The baby food puree was 50 cents and I struggle with nutrient intake, so I figured “that aughtta help”, and then I added in a supplement for good measure. I call foods like this, garbage soup. It’s delicious don’t be fooled! I’m drinking 3 danimals yogurt smoothies with it

What was the mystery meat my ex fed me?

So my ex grew up on a farm and when we started dating, he would joke about teaching me to enjoy more “exotic” meat varieties. This was in the first few months of dating in 2021, came home and he had made spaghetti and sauce with what I initially assumed was chicken. It was not. Ate it, finished my plate, figured it would win points but as soon as I tasted it, I knew that meat wasn’t one of the mainstream options. I brought it up at least a year later and he wouldn’t tell me what it was. He joked about it being anything from prairie dog to cat. I recently redownloaded Snapchat and found the video I took before eating that night. I screen capped it, in case it’s obvious.

It was so long ago but I remember the meat was very stringy and had a weird sweetness. It’s probably something he shot on the family farm, we live in central Illinois.

Life raft not fried chicken ice cream

such an interesting combination of sweet and salty ! it says waffle ice cream (I don’t taste maple? it’s just like vanilla ice cream), chocolate pretzel bone (not hard on your teeth to bite into so don’t worry), caramelized white chocolate, corn flakes.

very yummy

I was trying to make an Omelette and bagel.

It's 4 eggs, half a white onion, half a Red Onion, a quarter a block of Cheese, some mixed vegetables, a big mushroom and put into a blender out of curiosity. I then burnt the bagels.

Thoughts on a food crime from a former friend?

I was friends with someone who can't cook and whose idea of a culinary masterpiece was something that I can only describe as a pregnancy craving: fries topped with chili and Spaghetti-Os. I'm not opposed to being creative and experimenting, but that grossed me out. What are your thoughts???

Taco slop™️ my amalgamation of vaguely “Mexican” food into a bowl

Rotisserie chicken
avocado purée
Black beans
Taco Bell sauce
Cheese dip
Taco Bell sauce
My homemade taco seasoning

Mix and microwave
Dip with chips or ritz crackers

Optional:
Sub black beans for refried beans
Add lettuce
Add onion
Add rice (replaced chips)
Add diced bell pepper
Add cayenne pepper
Add corn

I make this at least about once a week.

I’m normal I swear.

When I was working Catering last summer the owner of a catering company made me prep salad in a dirty bucket that still had a sticker in the bottom

I worked for a company that would send us to events and this is how the owner of one of the companies we were contracted for handled food. He made salad in a dirty bucket that had a sticker in the bottom.... When I said something he threatened me 🫠 this came up in my memories and I just laughed because what the actual fuck was going on/they charged these people thousands of dollars to prep their food in an unsanitary bucket

I'm so sorry world- I created a monster.

So I was just going through my camera roll making some room on my phone when I came across this. I do not recall it, but my fiance remembers it *very* well. Apparently I was a wee bit drunk the other evening when I decided to make Kraft Dinner topped with cottage cheese and ketchup. Apparently, I thought it was *fantastic* at the time.

Confession: I microwave sardines in the office. Am I beyond redemption?

Fellow sardine enthusiasts, I need an honest ruling.

I work in a shared office and occasionally bring sardines for lunch because they’re cheap, healthy, high protein, and genuinely delicious.

Here’s the controversial part:
I microwave them.
Before sentencing me, context:
• shared office
• there is a communal kitchen
• I’m not doing this daily
• I genuinely didn’t realise how offensive this might be until it crossed my mind

So… is microwaving sardines at work acceptable if done sparingly, or am I officially that colleague?

Be brutally honest. 🐟
