The worst fry up I've ever had £18

It arrived 50 minutes late (I think they were making sure the bacon was crispy) The beans were plain beans from a tin slimy and mixed with some tomatoes, no flavour. the meat burned to ashes, the Twig also burned. Also a tiny portion. But even with the shocking price what annoyed me the most was the egg!

I complained and had it removed from the bill.

It’s not burnt it’s blueberries. <cries in food allergies>

I have a food sensitivity to nightshades which includes tomatoes, paprika, most peppers, and even white potatoes. Glorious potatoes. 😭 Tomato and/or paprika are in EVERYTHING. I’m also allergic to sunflower, which is also in EVERYTHING.

This means I live in an ingredient household and make most everything from scratch or pay a premium for the rare pre-made food that doesn’t contain sunflower or nightshades.

And it also means that I get creative! I’m constantly looking for new flavor combinations to make up for missing flavor classics like tomatoes and peppers. With mixed results. 😅

I made from scratch a blueberry garlic wing sauce, overnight marinade. It started red, then turned purple, and now with quick bake they turned a green black. 😵‍💫

Once we get to the bbq, I will grill them again and I saved some of the purple sauce to use to grill them crispy. But they already look burnt!!

The man says he can’t stomach these, the color is too off putting. My family will probably say the same. They have the luxury of being able to eat whatever they want.

I GUESS THAT MEANS IT IS ALL FOR ME! OMNOMNOMNOM!

These are tender and juicy and garlicky. I’m sad that little blueberry flavor didn’t really come through, but I’m glad these won’t make my bones feel like they’re being crushed in a hydraulic press.

I hope everyone gets to enjoy something just for themselves today.

It’s the Lunchable effect

Straight outta the fridge pizza Lunchable with just the sauce and crust. Pic of proof that I ate it like that and it’s not bait.

Paano po papagalitan ang nanay?

She woke up earlier than me.

I woke up because she was watching tiktok with a loud volume.

She got distracted.

I smelled something is burning.

I was jokingly getting mad at her “Kaka cellphone mo nasunog ang itlog.”

She just laughed. 😆😤

leftover homemade mac n cheese from work

It's a sphere because they stored it in a soup container, I did try microwaving it and eating it but it tasted so terrible I had to toss it

Freakin yum

Okay as someone who has stomach issues and works all day in food service… sometimes I have to get creative with a nausea and allergy safe lunch. This is my almost criminal take on avocado toast.
2 slices sourdough bread (I buy a vegan one)
You’ll use half an avocado (1/4 per slice) and mash it onto the toast
I use about half a banana but on occasion I shoot for the whole nanner (sliced up)
Here’s where the crime begins- I cover the avocado toast in banana slices
Then I drizzle peanut butter across both slices of toast
{yes it is a lot of mush if you have texture sensitivity BUT I love crispy toast with this and you can sprinkle granola on top for more crunch}
Also this is NOT a good presentation but it’s so freakin yummy. PLUSSS you get healthy fats, potassium, proteins, and grains.
YUM YUM YUMMMM.

Is this pizza that I made a food crime?

It's a premade crust with vegan pesto, dairy free mozzarella and mini sweet pepper rings

Baby's first Slider Dog

I've been a Northeast Ohio boy my whole life. Grew up in Akron, have claimed Cleveland for 8 years now, never had a Slider Dog until last night.

I expected to dislike it or be indifferent but damn, this thing rocks.

My pepper bag still is running low. So my Mac and cheese still feels empty

It’s my own duty to obtain pepper, but I am so lazy. I could only get two out of the necessary four handfuls of pepper on the Mac among other things.

Sometimes I like to put goldfish on pasta because it gives it a perfect cheesy crunch. But only temporarily, they get soggy relatively quickly.

Nutella Pringles??

This is not a new idea, but I dipped some sour cream and onion Pringles into Nutella, then had it with expensive salted butter. Oh, my god. IT'S SO GOOD. I found this Pringles flavor (shown in the picture) online. Is it real??

My favorite snack at baseball games

I’m at the baseball game for the green guys from Seatle today Every time i’ve gone to baseball games since i was 9, I would get nachos and sour patch kids and sweet tarts mini chewy, after i finish eating the nachos i always dip the candy in the cheese sauce; it’s a surprisingly good combo! Give it a try sometime and you’ll be pheasantly surprised! 😛
