D522 vs D385 difficulty

I took D522 in mid July. I asked my mentor to change my course back to the OA, since I do better with tests than I do with projects, and after a few days of studying, I passed it on my first attempt.

I did the same with D385, and I'm working on the labs now, but I feel like these questions are harder than D522.

For those of you who took the OAs for both, did you also feel D385 was harder? Do you have any advice for passing the OA? I wouldn't say I'm hopelessly struggling, but I've spent around a week trying to find motivation to do this course because I'm not a big fan of Python.

No care in packing expensive items

I purchased this figure on Mercari, which is automatically processed by Buyee. I paid roughly $1,000 for it, after the item cost, plus shipping and tariffs.

The figure arrived today in a mangled box. My hope was that it was just the box, and that Buyee had the wherewithal to put the item in a box larger than the item itself, so there would be room for the box to be somewhat squished and not hurt what's inside. No. The box was barely larger than the box for the figure, with a tiny bit of packing paper and bubble wrap. Absolutely nothing to protect it at all.

I ordered the standard package from Buyee, and I've put in a claim. What are the chances they actually pay up, now that the box is dented and ripped?

Does everyone get this email?

So, I completed the Managing Information Security (D832) course a little while back, for which I had to complete the MasterCard phishing lab. I just got this email saying the quality of my work stood out. Do they send this to everyone as a marketing thing, or did they really think I did stellar work? I barely put any effort in, and honestly felt like I half-assed it. To be honest, it was a completely useless course (the task, not D832 itself).

Struggling with D830 Lab 1.1

I'm currently working on lab 1.1, which requires you to create an RSA key for Pasha and email it to Rina. I've created the key and sent the email, but for some reason, I can't receive the email on Rina's VM. When I click on "get messages," I just receive an error stating it cannot connect to ZYWIN01. Has anyone successfully completed this lab? What am I doing wrong?

Having lots of problems post separation. Nothing seems to help

I was discharged on March 27th as part of the current administration's ban on transgender service members.

I never received a DD-214.

I was promised six months of TAMP benefits, yet MilConnect doesn't let me sign up.

I applied for unemployment, but I was denied because my state (Maryland) claims I'm not a veteran, since I didn't complete my first six-year contract.

We were promised that we'd get to keep our enlistment bonus if we elected to VOLSEP, but my final LES had a $9,000 deduction for a recoupment of my enlistment bonus.

When I separated, VA.gov had an incorrect name on file for me. It took three attempts at contacting them to get them to fix the issue, and after the third attempt, they locked me out of my account, giving me an error that multiple DoDIDs were found for my name.

I contacted my former CoC, and it got me nowhere.

I contacted my congressmember. It got the login issue to VA.gov fixed, but none of the other issues have moved forward.

I contacted the Trans Representation Project at the NIMJ, and while the lawyer I've been speaking with has said she'd be helping me, I haven't seen anything materialize in the month plus since we initially spoke.

What the hell am I supposed to do? I'm in the middle of filing my VA claims, and my VSO is requesting a DD-214 I don't have. I'm unemployed, going to school full time. I can't use my GI bill because it was too late to apply them to the current term. Any more than a few months of this and I'm going to burn through what little savings I have and I'm going to be homeless.

Halfway there!

I've completed sixteen courses in just under three weeks. I COULD have done more, but a couple days were taken off in order to take a breather. I went to the zoo on Sunday, which was fun. There were also a couple days of being idle while waiting for courses to be accelerated or waiting for my in-person exam, since I'm not keen on doing the certification exams at home. ITIL 4 (D336) I passed on Monday, and I just passed Security+ (D329) today. I started on 1 May with 31 classes to go after transferring 24 CUs. I have 15 classes left.
