It's pretty rare to see Chococat merch in Japan where he is somewhat obscure, so I was delighted to find this pop-up store at Tokyo station!

I could never use the bath bombs they're way too cute 😭

I told them that my favorite characters were Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Lovelymocha, and Keroppi, and they sent me this adorable card that says 'Thank You For Being A Fan!" And stickers of My Melody, Kuromi, Hello Kitty, Keroppi, and Cinnamoroll!!

I was already having a good day today, but this just made it even better!

If you've watched Onegai My Melody, you'd noticed that Baku has this quirk where he says "zona" at the end of his sentences. However, every time he's adapted for an English speaking audience, that quirk is never adapted. He doesn't say "zona" at the end of any of his sentences like he does in Japanese. Why is that? Did the localizers find it annoying or something?

The 2 franchises have technically collabed twice. A few years ago, MLP came out with a collaboration with LittleTwinStars called "Hello Pony!" (which I always thought it was weird that it was called HELLO Pony when Hello Kitty had no part in this collection. They could have called it Little Pony Stars, or My Little Stars or something but I digress) And last year for Lunar New Years, the trading card company Kayou came out with an MLP x Sanrio Characters collaboration.

But the thing is, both of these were exclusively available in Asia, with no way of getting them outside of Asia unless you're willing to pay scalpers like, 800 dollars or something.

I would love to see the mane 6 and the Sanrio crew in a new collaboration more widely available.

Like, I can totally see Kuromi flying on Baku alongside Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie baking with Cinnamoroll and My Melody or Twilight reading with Hello Kitty.

Would you like to see this collaboration too?

I had the big versions at home but couldn’t resist buying the small Sanrio themed version lmao
