Is there something I need to download to be able to use cheats for games?

Ever since the new update I feel like I can barely load into Tomodatchi Life anymore. It takes such a long time for everything to finish loading, but moat of the time my screen just stays black/white.

Is it similar to Ebay, where you just check user reviews?

Been using Archive.org but it's not listed im the directery. For DS btw.
