Has anyone gotten manga shipped from Japan to the US, I’m looking to buy like 5 Japan exclusive design mangas and some k pop photocards but just wanna make sure I won’t get quoted a crazy shipping/tarrif price.
This is base on one item btw I always been using this website for some reason I have bought shoes tariffs came out to be way less I have bought jeans awhile back 2 months ago for 465 and tariffs would be 130 at least for the shoes it would be lower like 86 or 100 but I recently paid 517 for this hoodie I wanted and tariffs came out to be 230?? Like Jesus buying clothes from this website is so sad and useless now everything used to be so cheap last year
So what someone had noticed begin to happen with mercari lowering their discount campaigns progressively from 10% to 8% and possibly ending in 5% may be happening to coupon auctions as well?
Today is the first time I see a 8% coupon instead of 10%, I may be wrong but it kinda looks to be heading in the same direction

Hi all, I ordered an item from Amazon JP 13 days ago and it has yet to arrive to the FJ warehouse. I contacted customer service and they said the expected delivery date was from June 16-July 13… what??? I asked if the item can be cancelled, and they said no??
If I wait for this item to come, my other items will be “destroyed” since the 60 day storage period will be exceeded.
This is just so confusing to me because if I open the original item’s page, two-day shipping is now available. I don’t know why FJ allowed me to purchase the item if it would take over 51 days to arrive. What can I do?

Was trying out buyee and bought from FromJapan but i thought shipping was gonna be 26$ till it made me choose the shipping method and came out to 170$+… How do i fix this or pay less because it was literally 8 shirts i bought that were so cheap and lightweight im just sooo confused because why is it so expensive for just 8 shirts ??????

Seems that the website is down today. 500 error shows up. Anyone else has same issue? If that error appears, it is usually the page owner server fault. What a pity.
So I'm shipping 5 items totaling 100,380 yen, where I'm debating doing DHL or UPS DDU, but I want to choose one that charges low for the import duties, customs fees, etc. I was thinking maybe doing two separate shipments, but I'm assuming that I would spend more. What is the best way to go about shipping the items, spending as little money as possible?

There's a guitar i want to buy. It's 150K Yen. The seller only has 1 positive feedback.
I put the order in, and FromJapan replied to me saying that it won't covered by their Product Protection because the seller is so new. They recommend i cancel the order.
Is it too danger to go through with? It's a very specific guitar, i'm not worried about fakes. What happens if the seller ghosts, or sends a wrong item?

I recently shipped a package from Japan to Italy containing secondhand clothing (made in Japan) using From Japan (OneMap) as my shipping service. DHL Italy is currently charging me for customs duties. I tried contacting From Japan customer service to ask them to add the official EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) origin declaration to the commercial invoice so I could benefit from the 0% preferential customs rate. However, they replied that their company policy does not allow custom text to be added to the invoice; they can only modify HS codes or standard item descriptions. Has anyone managed to achieve the 0% EPA customs rate using From Japan/OneMap? Is there a specific solution, or does it simply not support the EU-Japan EPA? If you've used other Japanese shipping services that do allow the EPA declaration to be added to the invoice for EU buyers, please let me know for future purchases.
Sure wish FJ would give us any kind of information on when/if Japan Post shipping options will come back...
Anyone understand why the "most expensive" shipping option is the cheapest in the long run? Or will i still have to pay the tariffs with DHL after I get the package. UPS charges it upfront but it seems like DHL does not charge?
