My Husband is switching from Tirzepatide to Semaglutide

My husband is currently transitioning from Tirzepatide to Semaglutide. While I am very familiar with the protocols for his current medication, I am looking for guidance on how to navigate the supply for Semaglutide here. Could anyone point me toward a few reliable, high-end pharmacies that can provide formulations without unnecessary additives? I’m looking for a professional setup that handles the medical consultation and fulfillment seamlessly. Any pointers would be helpful!

28kg down in 6 months!

I honestly never thought I’d be writing this. A year ago, I was at my heaviest -115 kg. As of this morning, I’m at 87 kg.

I still have a long way to go to reach my goal of 70 kg, and I’m definitely still a work in progress, but life feels completely different now. The constant back and joint pain is gone. I can move, stay active, and play with my family without feeling like my lungs are giving out.

The best part? My family sees the change in me, not just the weight, but the energy and presence. Still grinding, still a long road ahead, but for the first time, the goal feels possible.

Lesssgoooo!!!!

How to get prescription for glp 1? (Ahmedabad)

As the title suggests, i want to know any offline or online mode of getting a prescription for the GLP1 meds. It would be better if there is a doctor, too, to monitor the process.

Lost 25 kg on Ozempic - Here’s What I Learned About Muscle Loss

I’ve been on Ozempic for about 6 months now and I’m down 25 kg. I’ve also spent around 9 months digging through studies and clinical discussions because one question keeps coming up everywhere:

“Are GLP-1 meds causing muscle loss?"

The answer is a little more complicated than social media makes it sound.

In the STEP-1 semaglutide trial, participants lost a significant amount of weight over 68 weeks, and part of that was classified as “lean mass.” But lean mass doesn’t automatically mean muscle. Newer research suggests that some of this loss comes from water, liver mass, glycogen stores, and other tissues and not just skeletal muscle. In many cases, actual strength stays fairly stable.

That said, there are a few reasons people may notice changes in muscle tone or body composition while on these medications.

The biggest one is protein intake. Appetite drops so much that many people unintentionally eat far too little protein. A lot of patients barely reach 50-70g a day, while most adults trying to preserve muscle during weight loss likely need closer to 1.2-1.6g per kg of body weight.

The second issue is activity levels. During the first few weeks, fatigue and low energy can make people stop strength training altogether. And muscle responds to use if you stop challenging it, you’ll naturally lose some of it over time regardless of the medication.

Other things people mention like hair shedding, facial volume loss, or looser skin are also real. Rapid weight loss combined with low protein intake and nutrient deficiencies (especially low ferritin or vitamin D) can absolutely contribute.

The things that seem to help the most based on current evidence:

→ Prioritize protein consistently throughout the day
→ Add resistance training 2-3 times a week
→ Check ferritin, vitamin D, and overall nutrition if fatigue or hair loss starts showing up

GLP-1 meds can be incredibly effective tools, but body composition depends a lot on habits alongside the medication.

Happy to discuss more if anyone’s interested in the research or personal experiences.
