I need a game
I need a game for 3-4 people that is available on both consoles and PC to play with friends, at a price closer to $5 (200 UAH in my currency if you're interested)
BODYCAM, the most realistic FPS ever (read it, you won't regret it)
You guys remember that hyper photo-realistic FPS game called Bodycam released in 2024, made by 2 French brothers? It was a very realistic game, graphically and in gameplay, but it didn’t have much progression, wasn’t well optimized, some other problems and it got repetitive after some time, pretty basic stuff.
The thing is, they are now a bigger team, “Reissad Studio”, and have been working for a whole year to develop this one, new update named Locked & Loaded (v0.8, not even v1.0 yet and it’s unbelievable) releasing in two weeks (September 2nd). They reworked, optimized and improved every part of the game, here is the main content: huge optimization, new Trench map, new guns, loadouts and customization (hundreds of attachments), ammo check, realistic aim optic scopes (I bet you to tell me a game with better ones), realistic FPV drone piloting with explosive, RC cars with C4, dynamic ragdoll system and operator's stress system, changing the animation of reload and breath, whether the operator is calm or stressed and the amount of ammo.
They recently posted a video showing everything (except for the new map and sound design that will be shown still this month). It’s worth to watch, believe me:
Why GTA VI Doesn't Excite Me Anymore
GTA might be the only massively hyped franchise I'm just not feeling anymore. I've played every single GTA game, IV's still my favorite, but somewhere along the way I straight up outgrew the formula. It's just not doing it for me at this point.
Meanwhile I'm way more locked in on stuff like Witcher 4, the next FF7 chapter, whatever Atlus is cooking next with Persona 6, and honestly even the next Steam sale so I can finally chip away at my backlog. Game's like Crimson Desert, Black Myth Wukong, Assasins's Creed Shadows and many more. On PS5 side I'm hyped for Phantom Blade Zero, the next God of War, whatever Kojima's building with Physint, etc.
Not saying I will never ever play GTA VI but It will probably be after 3-4 years when it's on some sale on steam or maybe a bit more later.
Are You excited about GTA VI?
Ranking games from five decades
I have been playing single player games since the late 80's. This is my top 100. (I'm refering to God of war from 2005 by the way)
Saboteur — a pass-the-phone party drawing game where one of you is secretly faking it (no sign-up, no download)
Thanks for checking it out! Saboteur is a local party game you play by passing ONE phone around — fitting for this sub: no accounts, no download, no data collection.
✅ Runs in any standard browser — desktop (draw with the mouse) OR phone (touch). It's a pass-the-phone local game, so it shines with a group, but you can click through the whole flow solo on desktop to see how it works.
How it works: everyone gets the same secret word and adds one stroke to a shared drawing… except one player (the impostor) who has no idea what the word is and has to bluff. Then you discuss and vote on who was faking it.
A few things that make it spicy:
- 🎭 The impostor can SABOTAGE someone's turn — mess up another player's drawing to throw the suspicion onto them.
- ⚙️ Lots to customize: rounds, turn style, number of impostors, sabotage rules, hints for the impostor, plus quick presets (Quick / Classic / Chaos).
- 🌍 6 languages, runs offline once loaded.
Honestly I picture it for those in-between moments — at the pub, during a boring lecture, or at work when you're bored and just want to kill some time together. It's still an early demo, so I'm updating it often based on feedback.
Would love feedback on: is the impostor too easy/hard to catch, and is anything confusing in the first 30 seconds? 🙏
I don’t get the GTA 6 hype anymore.
We’ve spent months calling out PlayStation for going digital-only. Fair enough, digital-only is a terrible direction. Yet Rockstar is doing the exact same thing with GTA 6 (physical copies are just a box with a download code, no real disc, and no plans for one later) and the reaction is somehow much quieter.
Then there’s the console-only launch. Yes, it’s coming to PC later. No, that doesn’t feel justified after this long. Twelve years of development and it’s still exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series at launch.
On top of that, tech analysts are already warning that current console hardware is going to struggle to keep up with the simulation demands. A solid 60 fps mode looks unlikely at launch, and even the stronger consoles may be locked closer to 30. (If this is the case why would they not launch it with PC as well so people could run it on more powerful hardware?)
And finally, the game is launching as a single-player experience only. Online is being held back for later. After more than a decade, we’re still getting a staggered release of the full package.
I’m just not feeling the same hype I used to and frankly I can't imagine myself buying this game on release.
You have to convince someone to play your favourite game, but you’re NOT allowed to say its name.
Describe it in the most ridiculous way possible. 😂
I'll go first:
You are a homeless man with a severe inventory management problem who accidentally becomes the chosen one while spending most of his time breaking into people's houses.
As a hardcore Star Wars fan and a fan of the Division 1 and 2, this game is just perfect for me.
How I Actually Enjoy Games
I think the reason a lot of people end up disliking many games is because they treat it like a race, one game at a time, rush to finish it, then move to the next. I've never played that way.
No day-one rule. I only touch a game after it's been out a year or more. Never day one.
Always juggling 3-4 games at once. Depending on my mood, I switch between them. That way I'm never forcing myself through something I'm not in the mood for, I just play whatever fits how I'm feeling that day.
I treat every game like it's an MMO. No rush to finish, no deadline in my head. I just let it take as long as it takes.
This lets me actually appreciate everything, big AAA stuff, underrated titles, random indie games, all of it gets its fair shot instead of getting skipped because I was "busy finishing" something else.
Sometimes I like this Camera View. In some particular cars - (Game - Horza Forizon - Nihon)
Helped a fellow NPC eliminate their lonliness and Killed a legend who refused to fall even after dying. (SKYRIM)
Another Avowed video because some folk's meltdowns over my enjoyment are the real entertainment.
I’m here to play an RPG, not read 20 hours of dialogue
Maybe it's just me, but I've reached a point where I genuinely struggle with how much dialogue, backstory and side content modern RPGs throw at you.
I've just been playing Octopath Traveler 0, and I'm getting close to the end of the main story with around 100 hours of gameplay. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if at least 20 of those hours have been cutscenes and dialogue.
And I get it. You're supposed to care about the characters. You're supposed to know their stories and become attached to them.
But there are 36 recruitable characters in this game. You can have 7 of them in your party at the same time, 8 if you include the main character. So every time I recruit someone new, instead of being excited, part of me is thinking: "Oh god, now I have to spend another 15 minutes listening to this character's backstory before I can even figure out whether they're worth replacing someone in my party." 😂
And the problem isn't even just the amount of dialogue. A lot of the time I find the writing itself incredibly shallow.
I'm talking about RPGs in general here, not just Octopath Traveler. Persona, Dragon Quest, Trials of Mana and so many other fantasy/JRPGs seem to have this tendency towards incredibly predictable dialogue, endless exposition, characters explaining things that are already obvious, and stories that sometimes feel almost childish despite the amount of time they spend trying to establish emotional depth.
And I have to admit, I seem to have a particular talent for absolutely hating the stereotypical "princess" characters in these games. You know the type: endlessly kind, morally perfect, painfully naive, constantly worried about everyone else, and always ready with some speech about friendship, hope and doing the right thing.
They're often written as the emotional heart of the story, but to me they can feel incredibly artificial and sanctimonious. Which is probably why I keep getting annoyed every time one of these characters shows up. 😂
And I want to make something clear: I actually love good RPG stories.
I absolutely loved Baldur's Gate 3. I've put around 300 hours into it across three different runs, and I never felt like the story was getting in the way of the game. I also absolutely devoured Expedition 33. I wanted to see what happened next.
So I don't think my problem is simply "I don't like dialogue" or "I don't care about story."
It's more about how the story is delivered.
A slightly silly example, but I think Monster Hunter actually gets this balance really well.
Monster Hunter has a story. It has characters, quests, explanations, cutscenes and all the usual stuff. But most of the time it keeps things short and digestible. The dialogue gets to the point, you get some funny monster/Felyne noises, a little dance, and then you're off again to swing a giant sword at a monster that's ten meters tall.
And honestly? I think that's a great compromise.
The game gives you enough context to understand what's happening and enough personality to make the world feel alive, but it doesn't constantly demand your attention with another 10-minute conversation.
That's what I would like from more RPGs.
Give me the good writing. Give me memorable characters. Give me a compelling story.
But please don't make me sit through endless conversations explaining every character's childhood, emotional state, motivations and moral philosophy before I'm allowed to go back to actually playing the game.
Maybe I'm just getting old 😂 but these dialogue sections have genuinely become one of the biggest obstacles to me enjoying RPGs.
I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way, or if I'm completely alone on this.
My favorite, hilarious way to play Battlefield 6
Calling all gamers….
So I am currently in a debate with someone, and I need help to prove who is right!!
One of us says that hearing the game sound through the tv of someone you are on headset with is either;
(Hopefully I explained it right lol)
