I just build this new mode 'City Angle Reverse' if you wanna try it out: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle/ I'd love feedback for that one as not many players have played it yet!

Match each country to its correct land area by comparing the given km²/mi² values.

City-Angle reverse mode: Can you name the cities that match the areas arund the middle circle?

In the classic city-angle version, you have to guess a city from five given answers. This time, you have the city in the middle and have to guess the cities on the outside. Of course there are also multiple cities per area possible. If you want it a bit harder, you can also try to aim for the middle of each area. game: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle/

Guess the city based on these clues

This city is a national capital

It has a large LGb+ pride parade in which scantily clad men strut their stuff in order to spread awareness of homosexuality

It is home to a well known royal family

It is in the home country of renowned gay actor Sir Ian McKellan, who made an appearance on a Scissor Sisters album about gay nightclubs

Michael Jackson has visited here

Oscar Wilde lived here, and was later tried for gross indecency marking one of the most famous anti-gay trials in legal history

It is in a country where same-sex marriage has been legal since 2014

It has a Hardrock Cafe

City-Angle difficult mode with 5 given exact angles. Can you guess the city in the center?

In this game you have to guess the city that fits the middle of the circle/angles. I added the exact angles in this round. I don't expect that they help too much but it may be inetersting.

Game: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle/ This is also only 1 of seven game modes on our website so you can try alot more. But nevertheless have fun and educate yourself a bit with our games!!

City-Angle: guess the city with these 5 angles

These angles are based on the mercator projection of the globe. Can you guess the right city?

This is an example for the "difficlut-mode" of my game city angle: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle/

There are also other modes like sphere mode or the easy version.

I made a daily geography game — you're shown a travel photo and have to guess its location on a map.

If you enjoy geo puzzles, I think you'll love TravelGuessr. You get four places to guess every day. Zoom into the photo and pan around to hunt for clues, then switch to an interactive map and pin where you think it is. The closer you get, the more points you earn.

After you finish, you can see how you scored compared to other players — and even where they dropped their guesses on the map. Everyone plays the same daily puzzle, so you can compete and share your results spoiler-free with friends (Wordle-style). Come back each day to not lose your streak!

Would love for you to try it and let me know what you think 👉 https://travelguessr.com

Quick geography challenge. Would you get this right?

Quick geography challenge! 🌍

I’ve been building a small exploration adventure where you discover countries by answering geography questions.

Here’s one from the game:

No cheating! 😄

Would you have gotten it right?

If you're curious about the project, it's called Explorer Tales:

Made a small, simple game to improve my Geography knowledge

Hey guys 👋. Long time lurker and big geography nerd. I hope this post doesn't fall into the "promotion" category because my intentions are purely educational.

I had this idea for a long time now and finally decided to sit down and create it (of course with some AI help for the coding part).

The core idea of the game is simple: At the beginning of a round a random country is chosen. Then every 10 seconds clues will start to appear about this country. 5 clues will appear starting from general to specific. Where general might be: It is part of the Schengen area or it is located in Asia. And specific being e.g. the capital or a fun fact about this country.

The goal is: Can you guess the country with the least amount of clues? The faster you lock in your answer the more points you get.

You can find the game at: https://georu.sh

Looking for feedback and improvements!

Can you guess the correct city based on 5 angles?

The arrows show the direction you need to go on a Mercator map. So, if the arrow points east, the city is directly that many degrees east on a 2D map, as we can see in atlases and 'classical' maps.

If you like the game idea check it out here I made it as a free browser game: https://visitwhale.com/city-angle
