Jackson was a McDonald's All-American and highly regarded recruit, but injuries and an inconsistent role kept him from really breaking through at Kansas. Last season he averaged 4.8 points in 17.8 minutes, but shot 37.2% from three and showed flashes of what made him such a highly regarded prospect.
Cooley has been unusually bullish on him, particularly his defense, athleticism and leadership.

I personally want to see flashes of a competent & consistent offense. Offensive output was the reason we lost a lot of games last year. We never truly had a GO-TO “hey go get us a bucket” guy last season. Curious to see who is able to take on that role for us this season.
Are we really this low? I thought we had a decent roster, but maybe this isn't considering 5th years with uncertain eligability.
This is especially disgusting given that Vince played for him and was practicing with St. John's while his status was in limbo.
