Full nonconference schedule

What do you think? I like it. Good names. Winnable games.

Solid non-conference schedule!

Opponents for 2026/27 include UMD, Clemson, UNC, Texas, UCLA

Regardless of whether Cooley will take this program back to the promised land, at least we’re respectable enough to have a non-conference slate like this.

Not too long ago we just had teams like coppin state, UMBC, etc and even those weren’t the “easy wins” they should’ve been.

Why were only three Big East players drafted in the first round?

Zuby Ejiofor - SJU
Tarris Reed Jr. - UCONN
Alex Karraban - UCONN

These are three of the five members of the All-Big East First Team.

Legendary Georgetown-Syracuse bench clearing

On March 9, 1985 in the 6th Big East Men's Basketball Tournament, Georgetown defeated Syracuse in the semis 74-65 to advance to the championship game. The game is memorable for a confrontation between Georgetown’s Patrick Ewing and Syracuse’s Dwayne “Pearl” Washington just 6 minutes into the game. The Hoyas (29-2), who had just tied the score at 10-10 when the benches cleared. The fight led to a personal foul against Washington and an intentional technical foul against Ewing.
No one was thrown out. Different era.

Which Big East arena is the toughest? New or old Big East.

Hope Coliseum in Morgantown, WV is my pick. The crowd is rowdy af. Really loud. They appreciate good basketball. It's the right size(14K) with vertically stacked seating.
