Flashing images warning, according to video description it's because of corrupted video footage during editing

Hello moderator! I can't help but notice you said to my friend that their yumeship content was "borderline unrelated" to the subreddit. Here are my thoughts on that.

His yumeship content was perfectly related. It included a character from the game, which is enough relation that it would be allowed in any other subreddit. I'll even do a little experiment if you so wish and post a bunch of my yumeship art in a related subreddit and see how that goes with their mods.

Yumeshipping includes selfshipping and oc x canon. You know what both do? Build communities. Helps keeps fandoms alive. You are pusing away community builders by saying that about yumeship content. If you don't want it? Make an explicit rule that yumeshippers and selfshippers are not welcome and that your community is not a safe space for those whos love for the characters extends a bit more than in others.

Yumeshipping is only a few steps away from canon x canon. Allowing one but not the other is hypocritical and exclusionary. Your community will not last as long without yumeshippers.

EDIT: DISCLAIMER my issue is with how the wording was used by the moderator when talking about the yumeship content to my friend, as it borderlines on implying that yumeship content is lesser than non yumeship content. I am not saying this was the intention behind the words, but I am making this post based on the way things were worded.

As huge fan of Gravity Circuit (it's one of my favorite games ever and my favorite indie game), This whole mess is frustrating on both ends.

The innocent artists being unfairly accused of being alt accounts of the Nurse self-ship spammer because they posted art that was commissioned by him when they posted the art here on their own accord. It's not their fault, they didn't know about this sub's history with this guy and it's really not fair to accuse them of something they're not rather than just explaining what the problem is and why the guy's not liked here.

On the other side, the guy commissioned those drawings to begin with and actively didn't say anything about his reputation on this subreddit to those artists and considering these posts he made (DO NOT HARASS HIM). It's like he wants this drama to happen. I could be wrong and making accusations myself (and if I am, I'm really sorry) but again, considering he said nothing about his reputation here and didn't warn anybody he commissioned about it, it's really not out of the question.

I have a solution to hopefully end this mess before it gets any worse. DON'T ban yumeshipping art or remove art without warning but instead tell artists about this sub's problem with the guy rather than accusing them of being alt accounts. Here's another suggestion, Add a rule telling people ahead of time that that Nurse self-ship art is associated with an controversial banned user on this sub and that it's forbidden because of that (Don't even have to say his name).

Overall, I really hope this sorts out this whole mess and to those artists that got accused of being alt accounts because of this, I'm sorry you had to go through this and I'm sorry if this ruined the game for you.

Also to the mods: Please don't delete this, I'm just trying to help sort a problem and bring a end to it peacefully.

I don't usually like to get directly involved in stuff like this and prefer to stay out of it but considering Gravity Circuit's somewhat niche status and somewhat small fandom, I do want to help it get better and end this whole thing because it gets out of control.

The game is about ending an conflict before it gets out of hand, Let's try to do the same thing, okay?

You guys allow plenty of fanart from other yumes, other ship art, ect, but as soon as it's even slightly related to one guy you don't like, it gets removed?

It's not even him posting it, he's not evading any bans, it's us, THE ARTISTS that are posting art that we made here because it relates to your game. Nothing malicious.

Instead of listening to this, your users go out of their way to try and prove that all of the artists are actually impersonators, and even when we disprove that, y'all still don't care.

This is a surefire way to get people to not care at all about your game. I for one, am never going to play it. Your players are extremely rude and don't respect us artists.
