What turned me away from the Green Party (as a Cuban)
I voted for Jill at least once. I'm also a vegan, environmentalist, believe factory farms should be banned and that we should re-enter the Paris Climate Agreement. I've done lots of environmentalist and pro-immigrant work throughout my life.
I thought the focus of the Green Party was supposed to be environmentalism and fighting any economic systems that hurt the environment (and I presume, animals.)
Why do Green Party candidates admire Fidel Castro? As a person with a Cuban parent and family that still lives in Cuba, this hurt.
We shouldn't praise just anyone who claims they are a leftist. We shouldn't "admire" the greedy and violent.
