Great Hallmark-ish movie: Eternity

It's a really interesting concept where a woman, after she dies, has to decide which husband (both are deceased) she wants to spend eternity with. Incredibly sweet and at times very funny.

Any one else get logged out of + and now it won't let you log back in? No error is provided. Is this common to the app?

I tried from the App on Roku, Safari and iOS. Is this common? I just picked up a yearly membership today. Terrible first impression so far. The service on each platform listed above gives no error except to contact care.hallmarkplus.com.

Ideas to increase the range of Hallmark movies

So many of these are second chance at love for thirty to forty year olds. Why not

*give us a main love story for people in their 50s or 60s

*give us a story featuring someone who has stayed single without finding love before, so the new relationship is a shock to them

*give us a story where it's the male love interest who has to change his dream and move to stay in the relationship

*give us a few sequels. I would like to see a followup to the Reluctant Royal, among others. Not a retread where the same couple has broken up and has to get back together, but the next chapter of their lives.

These would all still maintain the essence of the Hallmark movies, but would be a little different.

Suggestion - a RomCom set of films

Big question - why isn't Hallmark instantly implementing all the great advice we all provide it here 😂?

And on that topic - Hallmark films are romances. There is a little humor here and there but by and large romances. They should consider trying their hand at RomComs. Films like French Kiss, Notting Hill, Avanti, etc. are very romantic. But also hilarious.

The Presence of Love is Hallmark at its best

The Presence of Love is airing right now, and I'm watching it for the sixth time. The acting and script are excellent, but the cinematography and soundtrack elevate it to the highest level. The music is so ethereal and melancholy - it just places me right there as Joss slowly finds peace. I highly recommend this movie!

Hallmark is releasing several of its Christmas movies on physical media for the first time

Almost all of Hallmark's Christmas movies have been put out on DVD at one time or another, but there have long been about 20 that have stubbornly avoided release. That's changing! On November 3rd, five of those movies will be out in a 12-movie collection -- or six, depending on how fussy you are:

A Merry Christmas Match (2019)
Return to Christmas Creek (2018)
Homegrown Christmas (2018)
Small Town Christmas (2018)
Hope at Christmas (2018)
Ice Palace Romance (2023)*

"Ice Palace Romance" has seen release, in a 16-movie collection released independently, so whether you count it or not is up to you.

I am especially glad to see "Hope at Christmas," starring Scottie Thompson and Ryan Paevey, coming out. I had just about given up on ever seeing it on DVD.

The collection is available on Amazon, with a price guarantee, at $49.99.

Hallmark Ottawa Movie Last night on CTV

There are often posts about movies being filmed in Ottawa and area, frequently Christmas Hallmark genre. Last night CTV broadcast “Family History Mysteries: Buried Past” shot locally (filling in for Buffalo) in fall a couple of years ago. If you missed it, it may be available through CTV streaming services.

Besides “Little Victories” coffee shop opposite the War Memorial and a typical Ottawa solar power parking meter, how many locations do you recognize?

Has there been any talk of bringing the Hall of Fame Movies back?

Until I read this (my post) I did not realize that HoF was a totally distinct venture of Hallmark's. So... has Hallmark made any noises about restarting HoF as another part of their offerings?

I'd watch those.

Wouldn’t it be fun if Tia and Tamera did a Christmas movie together?

I know Hallmark is Tamera’s thing and they have a complicated working relationship lately, so I understand why it would maybe never happen. I think it would be so much fun though. I really like the movies from a few years ago where Kimberly and Ashley Williams played sisters and each movie told the story from their point of view. Twins switching places has been done a few times with Candace Cameron and Jeremy Jordan playing twins so something like that could be fun too. Like I said, if they don’t want to do it I totally respect that, but if they ever decide it’s something they want to do I’d be excited.

The Love-Interest Game

Every movie we watch, my wife and I place bets on what the love interest will be wearing the first time the main character meets them - flannel, denim jacket, suit, henley shirt, or a combination of those. Makes the beginning of the movie even more exciting!

New mysteries?

Just signed up for Hallmark again after having cancelled in January. Mostly enjoy the mysteries. Besides the 2026 Hannah Swensen, any other new ones this year I should watch before my subscription ends? Thanks!

Fall Category and XBox app

Why isn’t there an autumn category where we can watch all things fall related, or am I ahead of the game and they still might do this?

Also, my Xbox streams smoother than my smart TV so it would be nice if the hallmark app was on it.

I Visited the Set of the Hallmark Movie Based on My Book!

Please take this down if it’s not allowed! I visited the set of A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER, coming out October 3rd, and I thought you might like to read about what it’s like on a Hallmark set. I am in the middle of writing a romcom novel that takes place on a Hallmark-ish movie set, which made it even more amazing to have this experience!
