Does anyone know how/when a pink “graduates “ to become a plum, or is it a specific age? Obviously a period is not required to be a plum.

Was watching the newest episode of the Testaments. And I noticed that Becka seems to be able to navigate the bus system. Made it to Agnes' house in the dark. She seems knowledgeable on geography. That seems unusual for a girl her age in Gilead.

I’m late to the party and only just hearing about the books now that Netflix launched the series. Honestly, it feels like I’m watching a messed-up episode of Black Mirror where we’re not that far off from reality.

Yes, parts of it are dramatized, but seeing what’s been happening in the U.S. over the past few years, it doesn’t feel like a huge stretch. We had the storming of the Capitol, women’s rights are gradually being taken away, and classic literature is being banned in schools.

Given the current state of the world, this series definitely hits a few nerves.
