I used to be able to just turn on the light at any given time directly from the hatch app (there was a bar at the bottom where you could play sounds or light) which was really helpful in times where I just wanted to use my hatch as a lamp! But now with this new update I don’t see that option? Or do I just not know where to find that without having to add it to my playlist?
Why did they take the lights away??
Seriously struggling to find the point of using this thing. With every new update, my Hatch restore becomes more difficult to use. I’ve had multiple nights where my brown noise just quits or becomes staticky in the middle of the night which is obviously disruptive to my sleep - the exact opposite of what this thing is intended to do.
Something as simple as updating my alarms constantly receive a red error message within the app.
Unpaid sounds are becoming fewer and fewer while new features are constantly added behind a paywall.
What is the point of this machine? Starting to think all the hype is just paid social media / influencer advertising, because I’m struggling to find any benefits.

Over the weekend, several of you may have noticed a change to the user experience on your Hatch app for Restore 3. We were testing a new experience with a small group of new users, based on customer feedback on app improvements you’d like to see, and a setting on our end sent it to many existing users too. That shouldn't have happened without a heads-up.
Your feedback helped us quickly find the problem, and we've fixed it, so your app is going back to the experience you know. You shouldn't need to do anything, but if it still looks different, please close and reopen the app.
Your routines, sounds, and settings haven't changed.
Some of you said you liked parts of the new version. If you want to keep it, message us or reach out to support, and we'll turn it back on for you.
We're still working on the new experience, and your feedback here is shaping what comes next. When it's ready for everyone, we'll tell you ahead of time.
